The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha Cassidy
If anything, the scarlet of Samantha's cheeks only darkened when the man moved to sit down at her kitchen table. She was all too aware of the nakedness of his body, and that eventually that towel would no longer suffice. "U-um," Samantha stuttered out, quite taken aback at the sheer amusement that radiated off of the man at her reaction to him. It was true that Samantha had not expected the feline to stay the night, much less shift for her. Still, she couldn't help the feeling that she was being mocked, and it caused a small frown to appear on her features. The girl hardly had time to react to his amusement before it too was replaced with the same irritation that she felt, and she was about to comment on it when his voice - much different than how she'd imagined it herself - spoke out to her. "It's not that Nadya talked about you to me much. She just... noticed I was a little disappointed when you'd left me there." She cleared her throat slightly, determined to appear more steady than she felt. "I didn't really ask more than that."
Her efforts to reduce the redness in her cheeks was given up the instant his words teased her, and Samantha smiled gently in return. "I hadn't thought about it," Samantha admitted, reaching behind her to turn off the stove. "Though now that you mention it, I'm glad that you did shift. Imagine all that hair in my shower. I would have hated to clean that up. Plus, you probably would have used all of my shampoo, which would have been unfortunate." Samantha turned, moving to plate the breakfast she'd prepared for the two of them. She didn't respond to his comment about her curtains, instead focusing on putting the plates down in front of the two of them before finally, she sat down as well. "I should get a lot of things," She pointed out to him. Her eyes scanned his chest, a frown appearing on her features. "Are all of those bruises from last night?" She inquired. "Speaking of last night, what was that?"
