Just because you dress up a Were in a fancy garment does not necessarily mean you tame its beastly half. As the curly-haired woman stands beside Isolt she simply gives the girl a polite grin. It is not like her to dress up in such fancy garments, but it was one of those necessary evils that she had to commit herself to. The reason why she was standing here was simply because of the invitation that Isolt had given her. Isolt was one of the very few friends that she, and like any human or canine, she had an uncanny need to please those she likes. In fact she didn't really choose this dress for herself. Walking into one of those older boutique shops with Nadya she tried desperately to please the cat woman. This dress was hardly one of the WerePanther's favorite, but the sheen of the muted fabric had caught her eye. Like her, the dress was simply more than meets the eye, and it took a special certain kinds of people to take an appreciation for such a thing. She was happy with her purchase and since it was one of those out dated fashions the price was far too low to say no to. Her head lifted up slightly at the praise that the fledging vampire had given her, being seen in such a positive light was such a rare thing she heard, and with the tone of genuine in her voice it added validation. Softly she murmured above the music and light amusing chatter around them.

"Sometimes being named after a bird has its advantages."

While she fell into small chit-chat with the red-headed vampire her blue-grey gaze would flicker for a moment to darker corner. The familiar figure of her mistress could be seen being pressed up close to the blonde-haired hunter. An agitated sigh could be heard as her eyes narrowed. Why her mistress had to be so very close to the Hunter she did not know. Quite frankly she was sick and tired of recusing the witch, wanting nothing more than to simply walk over there, and yell at her. If it was her job to protect the witch then the witch could at least help make her life a little easier. Scowling some her eyes flicked to the movement of a waitress walking by the odd couple. With a smirk she allowed the flute glass filled with champagne to simply...fall onto the Dark Hunter. At least then her mistress would think twice being too close to the male. Yet as the waitress began to mutter apologizes, the young woman was distracted by the familiar image of her deviant looking quite...dapper. Blue-grey eyes widen in surprise as she saw her 'date' dressed in such a fine manner that she quickly stepped closer to his side, pleased he was here.

"Because we had to wear a dress...and you look very handsome."

Indeed it was so very rare for the two to be dressed in such fancy garb. If anything she felt as if she were actually on a real date with her feline friend, but this was far too unusual. She would be just as happy if they were out on the prowl for their next meal, curled up at his side as they watched one of his many favorite movies that had speeding cars, or playing tag all along the west side. His compliment caused the she-wolf to blush, her red cheeks ever still present beneath her bird-shaped mask. Softly she murmured to him, allowing his fingers to continue to brush along her frame.

"Thank you."

Indeed it was rare to see her figure easily be traced by tight fabric. Always she was one to wear something baggy and loose, and that he was finally seeing her shape was such a rare thing. Knowing he needed to touch she quietly allowed it not minding it at all, as her own hand reached up to gingerly rub and scratch behind his black ears. Yet her attention for her friend was taken away as the vampire they had met for the first time in the warehouse made his appearance. Already the she-wolf was feeling a bit...anxious. Males were the far more dangerous gender. With her constant glances thrown at Serafina, to make sure her charge was safe from the Dark Hunter, and with the Damon and no Davante making their presence- it worried her to no end. It was no surprise that she placed herself even closer to Tobias side, the basic need to feel protected as she felt caged. Even though her façade remained indifferent surely any Were could take note that she felt panicked. Without her teeth and claws to protect her the she-wolf helplessly stood beside her spotted friend, feeling so very safe at his side.

Why Isolt felt the need to be so close to Damon she did not know, but she hardly appreciated seeing such a thing. A familiar scent caught her attention as she took notice of the male and female Hunters she and Tobi had ran into in the west. Scowling some her eyes would return to Davante. His comment grating her as she murmured softly for Tobi alone to hear, lifting her head some so he could have an easier time listening to her.

"Tobi...Dav is the one that trapped me in a cage and stabbed my tail."

As she stood close to her spotted friend's side, her eyes would slowly scan those that stood around her, every now and then checking up on her charge, but sadly missing a few familiar faces in the process. If she had known Isolt would have been a magnet for all these males she wouldn't have approached her in the first place. Her hands would come forward and rest in front of her as she worried twisted and turned her fingers not liking this feeling of being trapped. Although her face remained stoic her heart continued to pound. It wasn't easy hiding her other half, but the need to get out of this dress and run into the cold night was a far more welcoming event that she so desperately wanted to do. Her head pounding as she felt that familiar buzz of her other darker half just waiting to come out.
