North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Anna seemed without a care that the card in which she handed to Ceara was so easily handed over to Sebastian. In some recess part of her mind she understood what the card represented but couldn't quite grasp the true value of it in her current state, much less that she shouldn't be handing it off. Though Ceara she had history with and Sebastian was hers...shouldn't she trust them? Her attention shifted back to the tea party momentarily allowing Ceara to focus once more on Sebastian after he took the card. "I had friends there. I don't know what happened to them or Anna. I wish I could join you but I have to remain here. I ask only that you let me know what you find out." She paused, looking from man to child then back again. "I hope you find what it is you're looking for too." She cleared her throat, stepping away as Sebastian offered his hand to Anna with the promise of a present.

Anna gathered her doll to clasp it tightly to her chest with one arm as she slowly accepted Sebastian's outstretched one with her other. He had never gotten her a present before so she was entirely curious about it. Her crystal eyes shifted away from Sebastian to glance back at Ceara. "Are you coming too?" Ceara simply shook her head, glancing from Anna to Sebastian. "This one is for you two. I will be here when you get back though. Yoland will drive you." It was difficult to tell whether Anna disliked this answer or not but at least she didn't raise a fuss about it. Perhaps because Sebastian was finally agreeing to spend time with her without any provocation on her part. Easily Anna lightly tugged on Sebastian's hand to urge him back downstairs towards whatever it was he had planned which led to her getting a present. "Is it a big present?...Is it sparkly?...Can I play games with it?" Onwards the 20 questions started in attempt to guess this surprise.

As Ceara had stated, Yoland was waiting for them downstairs having set down the receiver of a phone on the wall behind the bar before hurriedly gathering his jacket and a set of keys from beneath the wooden counter. "This way." He guided Sebastian and Anna through the double swinging doors into the back storage room lined with all the backup alcohol then out the back door into the alleyway where a sleek dark green camaro sat. Dutifully and rather automatically he opened the passenger door for the pair before hoping into the driver's seat. He was quiet as he drove them through to the edge of town. It was Anna who looked more and more unsure about what was going on the further they got from any of the areas she had explored. "Where are we going?" The unsurety was thick in her voice even though she remained holding his hand as she watched the houses and businesses drift further apart replaced by more highway and open space.

In comparison to a large city, the time taken from point A to point B of the private jet airfield in Sacrosanct was short and by the time Anna had voiced her question Yoland had turned the corner and pulled them up to the curb of the small airport building. At which point Anna yanked away from Sebastian and slid across the backseat until her back hit the opposite side. "I don't want to go. Take me back to Ceara." Yoland shut off the engine of the car, glancing from the child to Sebastian in question. He hadn't been told to do anything beyond taking them to the airfield.
