Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
It was his comment on sharing that had Vhalla arching a delicate brow, an amused expression dancing across her features. Tilting her head at him as if she were regarding her prey, her eyes narrow in on him as she offers a secretive smile, "You're right, William, I don't particularly like to share," she lets his name roll off her tongue again, purring at him happily. "As for Hannah, she's not interested in men," she shrugs simply leaning back into her chair, watching him take a sip of the wine. "I do hope you don't mind wine, there are other beverages available if you would like something else," she offers him before continuing, "However, if I know Hannah, this wine will be divine with dinner," she laughs quietly as if she was sharing a secret memory with herself, and while she was, she wasn't sure if she was ready to share it with Will.
Letting her lips tug into a small smile she watches him through her long lashes, "And here I thought you were a man raised on respect and manners. Is it true that if you slouched at the dinner table they would tie your shoulders to the chair?" she inquires teasingly. Though the assassin did not know the answer she couldn't help but harass the British man. Letting her gaze travel his features freely, she listens to him speak letting her blush die down finally. "I could see that," she muses pondering a young William from another era, "On the contrary, darling, you'll find I have many faults, I'm just fantastic at hiding them," she replies to him her features turning serious as an amused glint dances in her blue eyes.
"You'll also find that I'm not fond of pet names, why you keep calling me kitten is beyond me," she teases him again though there is an underlying seriousness to her tone. It was true she didn't enjoy pet names; another thing ruined by her master. Vhalla was surprised with herself to not mention it earlier on but allowing William to call her those names did not cause a cringing sensation as did her master's voice. Immediately shoving down memories of her master into the deepest and darkest corner of her mind she focuses on Will again, willing the nightmares to vanish, if only for a little while.
The assassin begins to raise the wine glass to her lips again until the British man stands before her grasping her hand to pull her to her feet. Setting the glass down quickly, so as not to spill, she lets him drag her to the center of the room, her hand burning furiously in his. Feeling his hands trace her cheek sends a shiver down her spine and the witch can't help but want to lean into him, yet she resists the urge letting her own hand trail up to his shoulder and place it there, feeling the muscles beneath his shirt. Feeling that finger trace down to her chin, she raises her hooded eyes to him; by the gods she wanted to devour this man. As he speaks, it breaks the spell her had put her under as she releases a ragged breath, "It would be a pleasure to dance with you," she replies with a slightly strained voice.
It was then she felt his hand in hers and his other resting lightly on her hip and then they were moving. Vhalla thought herself a rather graceful dancer and perhaps in another life she would have loved to go dancing simply because she enjoyed it, not because she was forced to. Yet, dancing with Will was pleasurable and she moved in step with him as fluid and graceful as water. "I've been trained in many different ways, dancing just happens to be one of those-," she's cut off by William's lips crushing against hers and she can't help but melt into him. Halting their dancing, she pulls in close to him, her body flush against him as she returns that long kiss. Letting her eyes flutter close briefly, she's almost disappointed when he pulls away, but the witch hides it carefully.
She wasn't ready for him to tease her about not getting enough of him.
Letting his forehead rest against her own, she sucks in a breath. The man literally took her breath away and while her breathing had become ragged, Will seemed to be composed. Bastard. "Perhaps, you can show me your other talents," she suggests, pulling away slightly to look up at him, her eyes darkening in the heated moment.
