Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

you were the answer that I had

you were the answer to my dreams

As was true with any social gathering, there was a certain method of procedure when one found oneself a dinner guest in a particularly ill boding situation, even more so perhaps for his own ethnic descent. A certain measure of civility was the personification of his heritage, one so innately bred and nurtured within him that the vampire made such particular care to entirely ignore his own past with the young woman that settled across the table. After all, it would be decidedly uncouth to so pronounce her as that ignorant fae whom had made such an effort to salvage the life of a hunter after she'd fallen prey to one of his kind. Much less his own utter distaste for what his lover's thoughts might be on the topic. There was no doubt that Dorian had surely, in the six hundred years he'd been alive, much less reigned as King, seen his own fair share of lives lost and too had his own hand within them. Of this, Sebastian had no doubt and thus, particularly little concern. Rather, it was the simple fact of Samantha herself that made him so particularly uncomfortable. She was the wild card, the singular aspect with such a great effect upon the Italian King that made him entirely unsure if Dorian's knowledge of such an event might fall within his favor. Thankfully, his own efforts to so avoid even the mention of their previous encounter seemed alone to coax the woman to do the same and soon enough, he found himself simply listening to the pair reminisce over their first moments within the city with a noticeable fondness.

It was only Dorian's mention of the meal that remained entirely untouched at the center of the table that so drew his own gaze to the dish, his attention fluttering ever so slightly between the pair of fae in careful silence. After all, it would be entirely rude to take what was not offered and yet, too, was it not utterly peculiar to simply sit here and look at the food, despite how immortal the trio was? Thankfully, the simple mention of what it was seemed enough to so prompt the girl into action, those plates being snatched only to be filled with noodles and chicken with dashes of sauce. "Thank you." He uttered softly, so taking the offered plate from the girl and yet, he remained wholly attentive to her as she spoke, the words clearly meant for his own benefit. The Englishman provided her a small simper, his head bobbing ever so slightly in a way of response, "I am sure he will love it, it smells delicious Samantha." After all, it was necessity to so compliment one's host, it was a point the vampire was sure to carry through, even if such mannerisms hardly seemed to cease that steady thrum of fear that so caused her heart to beat faster then it should, a subtle noise his heightened senses were all too entirely aware of.

His crystalline blue gaze fluttered towards his companion as the man so begun to speak once again, flawlessly continuing the conversation in a fashion that their tutelage had so taught them to do. Still, he could hardly deny the soft snort that so left his nose, even as Samantha admitted her own fair experience with such a dish. "Really? That's the one you want to boast of?" He inquired, his efforts to so date his companion some how lost in the exquisiteness of fried food. Ah! And such effort had went into the refined cooking of that Wellington. Still, that simper upon his features hardly lasted long, the young woman's voice cutting through their efforts of joviality to see that simper falter. A soft sigh so left the vampire's lips, his gaze flickering away but briefly from the pair and yet, he hardly left the question to linger long. Instead, he picked his words with decided care, falling back into those old habits the same way he had done the entirety of this meal to date. "I fear the numbers of those my fangs have touched would make for a long, tedious, and dull conversation, my dear." He knew well where this conversation was going to lead him and for the first time, his affinity so effortlessly reached out to her in the same fashion it had done before though with a far more subtle care taken. Her fear was easy to manipulate, letting those pheromones that so connected with such an emotion simply drift away. It was hardly his intent to force her to want him in the same fashion he had once all those nights ago but Sebastian was certainly not above using his capabilities to encourage tonight to go as well as utterly possible, all possible outcomes considered.
