Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

She heard Troy pull into the garage, offering herself a small smile at the way he made himself at home in her mansion. She had more room than she really needed, so being able to share it with someone was always a plus. Slowly, she peeled herself off her couch, dismissing her staff for the next hour or so. She would be happy to cater to Troy, not really needing their help. There were other things they could be doing, so she allowed him a little time to do as they needed.

When she got to the door, she slowly opened it and tried to offer Troy a smile as she swung the door open for him. She must look like shit because she could tell the way his face began to droop that she was a sight...and not in a good sense. However, as he walked in, she had to chuckle just a little bit when he put the back of his hand to her forehead, asking if she had a fever. "I don't think I've got a fever." She waited for him to step inside before she closed the door behind him.

Walking with him into the kitchen, she watched him splay out the bags of soup. She couldn't help but smile at his thoughtfulness. He had to have one can of every single can of soup known to man. She eased over to him, standing up and kissing him softly on the cheek. "One can would have been sufficient, but thank you." She grabbed a can of chicken noodle soup and grabbed a pan out of the drawer. Opening the can, she dumped it into the pan and set it on the stove to cook. While her cooking wasn't exactly perfect, she could heat up a can of soup.

Moving back over to him, she wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her head on his chest. She could hear the steady beating of his heart and it was soothing...until that overwhelming desire to drink his blood caused her to step back. She eased onto one of the barstools along the kitchen island and sighed. "Troy, I'm a little worried...I've never been sick as a vampire â€" I didn't realize we could get sick." She felt something jab her abdomen and she instinctively brought a hand to her belly, feeling a hardness there she'd not felt before. She was instantly worried.

She quickly grabbed his hand and placed it on her belly where there was just the smallest hard bulging. "I've got a tumor or something..." She was definitely a little scared as she dropped his hand. "I've been tired and nauseous all the time the last couple of weeks...and my boobs hurt something awful. I swear they've grown a whole bra size." She drew her hands to her breasts, pressing against them and wincing a little at their soreness. "And I've been craving blood really bad the last few weeks...your blood even. That's never happened before." She was genuinely worried that she was going to die. Just when she was starting to enjoy her life with Troy...something was going to rip them apart. "Any ideas what it could be? A tumor? Some freaky vampire disease? Any ideas? Troy...it's freaking me out." There was a sense of desperation in her voice, a true worry that Troy had never seen from her before.
