Scarlett had been gone for nearly a month, traveling around the country to destinations she had only dreamed of visiting when she was a small, poor farm girl. Working for Nadya had allowed her to raise the funds necessary for the trip, and it had been hard to mask the sheer excitement that bubbled through her when Frost had approved of letting her go. This was an incredibly big deal for the wolf, it would offer her some worldly experience she had never had the opportunity to receive before and was a show of the responsible adult she had grown in to; her parents and grandparents would have been proud, she was assured of this. After packing her bags and relaying the details of the trip to Frost, where she was going and a list of places she was staying at so he had a general idea of her whereabouts in case anything should happen. Everything was planned out perfectly: flights, hotels, activities. For a moment before her departure sadness had crept in, she would miss her pack in her time gone, but they would always be with her in her mind through the pack bond and that was enough to send her on her way.
She started in New York, before venturing south to DC and then Florida. After spending a little over a week and a half exploring this part of the country, she traveled westward, making a stop in Yellowstone before spending the rest of her time in Southern California. Time seemed to fly by, each day was eventful, whether it be visiting stores in New York, museums and monuments in DC, beaches in Florida, hiking the wilderness of Yellowstone, or visiting one of many amusement parks in California. Before she could fully register the trip, she realized she was boarding her flight home. It was a bittersweet moment, while she would miss the adventure and places she had visited she missed her pack, her family, more than anything. But after a lengthy flight back, she couldn't deny her homesickness when a wave of happiness washed through her when her feet hit the ground in Sacrosanct.
Her hands were quite full of luggage and other assortments of bags she had managed to lug up to the door from her taxi; she was too excited to be annoyed by the lack of assistance from the driver. With a small amount of juggling the things in her hands, she managed her way into the house, finding the immediate living room to be bare of inhabitants currently. The small blonde quickly scurried to her room, careful not to trip or drop anything on her way since she had a penchant for being clumsy, dropping her luggage off to sort through at another time before scurrying back with bags still in hand. When she reached the living room she had to sit down to keep herself from bouncing with excitement; excitement to see her pack mates again and excitement to give them the gifts she had bought them on her trip. Each member had a well thought out present for them that there young Were was certain they would love. Once she had settled down, she gently pulled on the pack bond to let them know she was home and had presents for them upon their arrival.
