Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

he was both everything you could ever want
and nothing you could ever have

It was near habitual, the fashion in which the Italian Prince so reached for his husband's waist. That very gesture was meant to look nothing more than affectionate, and though it was surely rooted within adoration, there was a certain predatory edge that so filled his muscular body in that singular moment. The sheer weight of that possessiveness he held for his husband so crashed into him at the sound of those running feet, his crystalline gaze near immediately seeking the source of the noise even despite how unlikely it was to find any sort danger within Amelia and Troy's home. He was hardly prepared for the very sight of that child, one who was all too abruptly scooped up into Amelia's arms. His own irises widened ever so slightly and yet, his figure hardly relaxed in the slightest. After all, Sebastian had his own experiences with child vampires, though they were often made as children and not born like the very anomaly of the girl in front of him. It most certainly had to be the same little babe they'd met merely months ago at their own wedding, didn't it? He could hardly help that blatant inquiry upon his lips as the vampire so finally voiced the very thought they everyone present seemed to be contemplating. He hardly expected the small shrug upon Amelia's shoulders as the young woman admitted she had hoped that he might have some sort of answer.

His head tilted in slightly consideration, the vampire nothing if not entirely analytical. "My own maker is a child - made though, not born." He admitted, so rarely offering the pair that personal information he so often preferred to keep to himself. "Her aging is stagnant though. I suspect since Tenley is....born into death, that she is something of a rarity all on her own. Though, perhaps there is something unique about you too in order to even allow this in the first place." He commented, his bright blue eyes sweeping towards the petite figure of Amelia herself. Sebastian had, admittedly, met his own fair share of unique vampires - from Arlo who ate only blood to Chizue who feed on the souls of her prey. Who was to say that Amelia herself was not extraordinary? His own hovering of his husband hardly lessened as Dorian extended his hand towards the child, only to drop it quite at the last second in a vague comment that, perhaps, she might still be too young for such a greeting. Admittedly, he was rather glad of it, his lover's last encounter with Anna-Marie still lingering heavily upon his thoughts. Still, he provided Troy that all too expected chuckle at the fae's declaration that Tenley much preferred to ransom toys as a way of greeting. He supposed, he could hardly blame her in the slightest. She was, after all, still a child.

His gaze shifted, however, at Amelia's utterance of his own name. A warm simper crossed his lips at Amelia's assurances that her child was rather well-controlled with her very thirst for blood and yet, Sebastian kept that healthy dose of skepticism, all the same, tucked behind that ever polite smile. "Of course." He assured her, his own hand dropping hesitantly from his lover's waist if only to greet the timid girl himself, only to inquire if she too intended to join them for dinner. That very inquiry seemed to prompt some sort of reaction from the girl as her gaze shifted briefly towards her mother, only to announce gleefully that she had some sort of special seat. His eyebrow rose and yet, he allowed Amelia to fill in those missing gaps. "Ahh, how delightful." The Prince responded politely as his lover inquired upon the child's diet. How utterly intriguing this child was, it was, admittedly, unfortunate that Dorian and himself were incapable of providing the couple those reassurances that they so clearly sought. The vampire's crystalline gaze shifted as one of Troy and Amelia's staff came into the room only to announce that dinner was served. Troy's own admittance that it was about time, however, prompted a soft sound of agreement from Sebastian's own lips as he took his own place, behind his lover. His attention turned only as Amelia glanced over her shoulder at him and yet, the vampire merely shook his head ever so slightly, "No, whatever you have is fine." He insisted diplomatically, even if those words were little more than a lie. Sebastian had a fine-tuned pallet, his preferences often strictly chosen on his mood when they so deviated from the Monarch beside him. Still, he saw little reason his hosts should so be put out on his behalf, particularly when he still intended to later sedate those vampiric desires all the same.
