Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
There was no doubt that inquisitiveness had begun to so personify the vampire's fae lover. He knew well that curiosity that ran rampant throughout the man's system at the entirely intriguing device. He fully expected that learning every intricate detail of the cellphone would, at some point, entirely occupy the fairy and yet, for now, Sebastian was content to settle on simply showing Dorian the device's capability as far as text messaging went. He was, secretly so, pleased that Dorian hardly questioned him on the specifics of exactly how the cellphone worked, the vampire himself ignorant on some of the more complicated specifics. Instead, Sebastian merely informed his lover of the phone's capability of remembering that which was inputted into it. He had anticipated that, perhaps, the next time in which he saw Dorian, the phone would be filled by any variety of names of individuals that held any variety of meaning to the man and yet, still, he was willing to foot the bill for even them if it provided him with just the occasional opportunity to receive those 'letters' from Dorian himself. It was that assuredness that Sebastian was hardly the only soul within Dorian's life that so brought surprise to his features at the King's decidedly flippant comment.
For a moment, Sebastian found himself merely watching the fae as he so toyed with the buttons Sebastian had earlier shown him. His crystalline gaze so intently observed the man's profile, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. It took great restraint for Sebastian to not ask clarification on such a simply spoken sentence, the whole prospect bringing a nearly never ending slew of inquiries to the front of the vampire's mind. Did Dorian mean to say there were truly no others within his life beyond Samantha and himself? Or merely no others he had any interest in keeping in contact with beyond the pair of them? Though did it truly matter either way? That alone spoke volumes of how he had so succeeded in his efforts to stand out against the crowd that surely so desired Dorian. What did that mean for them though? For them as lovers? No - he was reading too much into this, he was assured. This prospect was hardly enough to indicate that Dorian held any real feelings - not like the ones that so plagued Sebastian himself. No, the vampire had merely become apart of the fae's routine, their weekly visits were but a welcomed escape. His thoughts, however, were entirely subdued by the touch of Dorian's fingers upon his features, turning them towards the man.
All too eagerly did Sebastian lose himself within the sensation of Dorian's lips pressed against his own. He abhorred the distance that existed between them, yearning entirely to pull the man closer towards him and yet, he knew well that such want wasn't entirely for that sexual nature. He simply found himself, more often than not, just desiring to be close to his companion. To feel his touch upon his skin, his gaze upon his features, hell, just that simple knowledge that for just a moment, he held the entirety of the fairy monarchy's attention. He stole every kiss he could from the man, his lips pressing against Dorian's with a fervor that could not be denied. This was where he belonged. He was aware of the man's hand upon his knee though he thought little of it until his fingers began to trace higher and higher up his thigh and closer towards his groin. His own body so naturally responding to Dorian's touch even after how utterly tired he had been but moments ago. His body so craved Dorian in a way Sebastian never had before - as if he was but made for Dorian alone. That subtle clearing of his servant's throat was the only that that stopped Sebastian from furthering this sweet moment, the man pulling away ever so slightly.
Sebastian all too willingly allowed Dorian to steal that last desired kiss from him before he slowly lead the way out of the vehicle, pausing only to ensure Dorian was next to him before he led the way into the restaurant. The vampire offered the smallest of nods towards the woman at the podium, following her deeper into the restaurant only for his attention to shift towards his companion at the sound of Dorian's voice. "Hm? This? No - that is still to come." His head shook ever so slightly side to side. He hardly elaborated on what this was, at least not yet. Instead following the woman to a table in the far back of the restaurant positioned in front of a large window overlooking the surrounding forest below. A river traced it's way through, giving way to a waterfall nearly directly in front of them and below. Under the light of the glow of the moon, it was a decidedly lovely few. In fact, the staff of the restaurant had done well to see to it that every instruction he had provided them was carried out to the letter. The lights within the room had been dimmed to a soft glow, a singular candle flickering upon the table as the woman gestured for them to sit. Sebastian settled at one side without a word, his crystalline gaze following Dorian when he too followed suit. A waiter immediately descended upon them, popping a bottle of wine only to fill the glasses before them and then, the pair were gone - leaving Sebastian once again alone with his lover.
"Do you remember that night you had asked me about England's food?" He inquired, his elbow resting upon the table as he leaned forward. His voice was soft, entirely fitting for the particularly intimate environment he had paid to have so meticulously crafted for them. "I promised you one day to take you to a restaurant to have our best." He gestured slightly around him, a small simper crossing his features as if to say this was exactly what he had done. He pushed those last two gifts across the table towards Dorian before leaning back, taking the glass of red wine and gingerly swirling it with the flick of his wrist. "I also got those two for you while I was oversea. I saw them and thought you might like them." A small simper crossed his lips, a nearly affectionate glimpse crossing his features.
