The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Do they want out. It was a curious question if nothing else. One Frost himself had contemplated time and again and yet even for all he knew of that very home he was so returning too he hardly found himself truly capable of answering that query entirely. Some of them, he knew, would be more then willing to leave while others would refuse with equal vehemence. The majority though, he suspected, would have little idea of what they truly wanted. Perhaps, if Alexander remained true to his word those who stayed would at least find themselves benefiting those reforms that were sure to come and yet Frost held little true hope in the Hunter breed even if Alexander had, so far, proven to be....different from any he had ever met. Their recent argument and lack of speaking terms hardly furthering his good will in that moment. Frost instead considering that very question his girlfriend posed him for several moments longer, his features frowned ever so slightly in that consideration before those cool, easy lyrics parted his lips.
"Some of them will, yes. Regardless of what happens the choice is their own."
He could so hardly decide for them. Each and every one of those equine would need make that choice themselves when the time came and yet Frost hardly dared consider a veritable victory when they had not yet even arrived at that destination. The equine hardly the sort of man to plan to far into a future he deemed uncertain at best. One he had so allowed Nadya to be a part off- against his better judgement. He so hardly doubted the woman's skill in battle, indeed she had improved significantly over the past weeks they had worked together. Yet, he could hardly plan for every outcome or every possibility. A part of him unwilling to allow her children to become motherless through his own actions or inattention. Nadya had joined him off her own free will and yet he had hardly expected anything less from the woman who held his affections. His girlfriends very nature so having attracted him from the start. Her sheer will and determination notable qualities even when she so rallied them against him in an effort to accompany him halfway across the world. The sudden declaration that it was time to begin that boarding readily saw the stallion gesture to that shorter line. Frost content enough to at least assure the beginning of that journey was carried out in some manner of style if only to soften the veritable blow that would be that multi-day trek once they arrived within that country he called home. It had been so, so long since he had returned. How desperately he desired to see that land again and yet how potently that very anger turned within him still. So much off his life so distinctly....unresolved. Frost, perhaps, more discontent then he had been in several months and yet, as always, he so refused to allow but even a hint of those emotions to bleed beneath the facade he wore. Frost near masterful at concealing those very emotions even if he suspected, on some level, Nadya well knew. His girlfriends sudden insistence she had never flown before readily seeming to draw his thoughts back to the moment at hand, his features frowning ever so slightly.
"Never? Then you shall have to trust me that this is the best class to fly."
That hint of a simper so found his lips once more, Frost leading the way onto that plan and into those large, comfortable seats that so allowed them to sleep, should they choose, for several hours of that journey. So many hasilty taken plane tripes within his younger years so affording the stallion a near remarkable ability to rest whenever that opportunity was given. His body so seeming to understand just what was required off it and when. Rest would be a truly valued resource over the next few days. Nadya, thankfully, seeming equally as inclined to use that opportunity. Frost glancing downward at that sudden touch upon his hand. The stallion, slowly, becoming more and more used to those touches and gestures of affection. The very idea of that affection once near terrifying to him and yet Nadya alone had so managed to coax that desire for that very closeness from him even if he still, sometimes, struggled to show that very thing. Frost, in that moment, merely taking her fingers in his own to offer her hand that gentle squeeze. The equine decidedly aware all the same of just how uncomfortable his 'new' appearance seemed to make her. His own gaze lingering upon those other passengers with a thing vein of curiosity. His affinity already brushing over the minds off several others if only to assure himself no Hunters existed upon that flight. That need to be cautious a lesson learned decidedly young.
That flight was, fortunately, near uneventful save for the occasional presentation of that food. Nadya hardly needing that encouragement to eat. After all, her animalistic form was far less capable then his own at surviving on those icy tundras. The more she ate now the better she would surely be later on. Their arrival and subsequent journey through the airport at Reykjavic was equally non-eventful. Frost's own Icelandic citizenship readily seeing him pass through those terminals faster then Nadya herself. Frost dropping that disguise the moment they were outside the tarminal and back in the land off his birth. His own white hair, here, in this country, far less curious then it was within that city they now called home. The vast majority of that population varying shades of blonde from honeyed brown to platinum. Nadya, with her newly blonde hair, blending almost effortlessly with that crowd in turn. Hiring that car proved to be equally as simple, that native tongue returned easily to the stallion. Frost feeling decidedly.....more comfortable then he had anticipated amongst his own people. That shared language almost a relief after so many years spent speaking so many foreign tongues. The car was easily loaded and only moments later Frost steered that car out onto the highway and away from that capital city and toward those rugged mountains and forested meadows of ice that so dominated that land. Iceland by far more wild than any other place he was assured Nadya had ever seen. That city quickly left behind them until all that existed was miles upon miles of grassland and glaciers, mist covered mountains rising readily in the distance. Frost leaning forward to point out a singular peak in that moment.
"Do you see those? They are not truly mountains. Each one of them is a volcano and each one of them is active. Iceland is known as eldur og Ãs, that is, the land of fire and ice. That white blanket surrounding them and resting ahead of us is ice and snow. Those faint dips in the landscape are rivers. They will be well below freezing. The rule here is very simple. Do not get wet, Naja. In my country, if you fall into a lake or a river you will not get warm again before the cold takes you."
He so hardly intended to allow that to happen and yet too he so hardly intended to hide the truth from his girlfriend in any sense. Iceland was beautiful, Frost near assured it was by far the most beautiful landscape on earth and yet it was dangerous in turn. The weather here not nearly so forgiving. That car so eventually turned off that road and onto a dirt track leading to the town of Ãsahreppur. That single, small town the furthest that car could go. That glacier national park stretching out before them then and so separating them from their destination. How many years it had been since he had last seen this place. Frost so allowing his violet gaze to linger upon it. His breath rising like smoke in that cool air and yet- it was to this very wild, rugged land he had been born. This the very place he felt far more at home within then any other. Frost allowing that shift to overtake him moments later (much to the awe of a shepherd watching with curiosity from a nearby pasture). His mind so reaching for Nadya's own then.
"This is Vatnajökull National Park, we must cross through it to reach Fljótsdalshreppur where my family is."
Those very words were simple and direct as always. Frost moving his now far larger, heavier frame around to the back of that car to allow Nadya to retrieve all they needed. Buying that saddle a decidedly easy task. After all, horses within Iceland still played a near major role in all things. That salesman so hardly having blinked- at least until Frost had so attempted to describe the size of the horse they desired that saddle for. Those native Icelandic Ponies far lighter creatures. Frost something of an anomaly and yet- there would be precious few people to see him once they had started. The war horse easily dropped down to his knees then, allowing Nadya to spread that blanket across his back before hoisting up that saddle and fitting it into place. Those hours upon hours of practice so evidently having at last paid off. Nadya handling those straps and ropes with ease until each was in place. Frost taking several steps forward to assess that fit before lowering his form once more to allow Nadya to climb into that saddle. That sudden touch to his shoulder and neck unexpected, one pricked ear following her curiously as Nadya paused beside his face, so pressing her forehead to his own in a fashion Alexander so often did. Frost, gently, pressing into that very gesture in turn. That soft, silent affection between both surely cleary before those icelandic words managed to leave Nadya's lips.
"Your doing well."
Those words, perhaps, meant far more then Frost might truly say. That Nadya had learned them within Icelandic even more so. His girlfriend easily swinging up into that saddle then to settle herself upon his back. Frost's heavy, feathered feet pressing forward then on those first steps in that incredibly long journey that lay ahead. The remains of that road fading to tussock grass and frosted earth. Frost readily instigating his own affinity now to encompass them both in that low level warmth to keep that chill of that wind at bay at least before picking that pace up into a trot. The stallion loping across that flat, open field until that town and car were but mere specks in the distance, Frost turning to follow that ice cold river then. His hooves thudding heavily against that damp earth, that air almost chilling with each breath in his lungs and yet.....he enjoyed it. Those first two hours passed upon that flat open field and yet those hills were steadily beginning to rise. That terrian becoming rougher.
"I have something to show you up here."
Those words were pressed easily to Nadya's own mind then, Frost assured she could hear that dull, distant roar even within her human form. The stallion suddenly heading downward and into a valley of sorts, the land far greener here, the scent of water strong in the air. That near colossal waterfall coming into view but moments later as Frost rounded the base of those mountains and hills. The grass had given way to those pebbles then, Frost's hooves crunching upon them as he wandered towards the base of that river, the pair paused before that almighty puring falls- that spray crafting rainbows into the sky around it. His head turned to face the woman upon his back then.
"What do you think, Naja? They say size does not matter but- in this case I think it does."
Those words were nothing short of teasing in every sense, the double meaning behind them surely hardly missed upon the woman. Frost content to stand and the edge for several moments longer and allow Nadya to view them entirely. How good it felt to be home- even if he might yet be leading them both to disaster....
