South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Damon might never come to fully comprehend the true depth of what he has done in bringing her here; neither may Isolt, though in this moment she is filled with the warmth of her own awe. The young vampire has spent the months since her untimely death lamenting a fair few things forfeited to the reaper's unforgiving hand. The kiss of the sun haunted her still, every recollection of its warmth a tormenting reminder of her damnation and a foreboding precursor of things to come with her descent into this eternal darkness. For months Isolt had failed to see the beauty which night had to offer, had met it with scorn for what she believed it to signify... until now. Dazzling blue eyes continue to rove over the cityscape set beyond the picturesque knoll upon which they found themselves, a million diamonds glittering against those blue surfaces, coaxed to life by a million city lights. She could not help but agree with Damon as it was, truly, breath-taking.

She turns to face him as he draws nearer to her, gossamer curls swinging pleasantly against her back as she does so. Isolt is helpless against the inquisitive look that draws subtle creases into her brow at his request, lingering a moment in pointed silence before acquiescing and allowing her lids to slide to a close as the plump cushions of her lips part for him. It cannot rightly be said what she expects of him in this moment, though surprise none the less works its way across her features, blue eyes opening to peer up at him as a single hand flies to her mouth. The small pastry lingers upon her tongue in a moment of confusion and hesitance for Isolt had yet to master the art of once again ingesting solid food as she once had. For a moment she fears she might choke as she has before when attempting such a feat, the slightest suggestion of worry marring her otherwise quite beautiful façade as she peers into the eyes of her companion. It is then that the succulently buttery crust begins to melt upon her tongue, its disintegration aided by the pressing of her teeth which heralds a rewarding burst of hot, fresh blood. A pleasant hum echoes within the depths of her throat as Isolt savors the feel of it upon her tongue, swallowing the confection easier than she had ever believed possible.

"It's perfect," she whispers, referring to so much more than just the pastry he has offered, ivory teeth glimmering beyond the veil of her lips before she offers him a look that could only ever have been characterized as purely enigmatic before slowly backing away. One delicate finger is curled in his direction in a beckoning arc as Isolt saunters towards the creek that burbles peacefully not far from where Damon's tantalizing spread awaits. The young flame-haired woman makes short work of the removal of her shoes and socks, carefully and deftly rolling up the legs of her own faded jeans before hopping onto the smooth stones that dot the black and shimmering surface of the water. She moves with a dancer's practiced grace from stone to stone, pausing upon one particularly large boulder that allows a view of the cityscape previously unseen. Turning back only to ensure that Damon follows, Isolt inclines her head, a soft sigh whispering from her lips. "I've never seen it quite like this. You would almost think it's peaceful."

Isolt lingers a moment in contemplative silence before stooping down to allow her slender fingers to pierce the darkly alluring surface of the creek, a mischievous and secret smirk plucking tentatively at her lips. Her movements are swift, her cupped hand flying from the water only to splash a smooth arc of the liquid towards her companion as a girlish chortle once again bubbles from within her. Isolt moves quickly to escape any retribution, hopping to a neighboring stone, her laughter accented against the playful burbling of the creek.
