South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Round and Round

"And it's all fun and games,
'til somebody falls in love"

The loud cacophony of voices, music, and glasses clinking together was enough to give anyone a headache. Carson was, thankfully, used to it. This didn't mean that he was immune to a slight hangover though, and that had decided to linger with the beating of a steady, agonizing drum beat in his temple. He'd been drinking more than usual, which honestly wasn't that much given he could never handle his liquor well, but anyway. The night had gone smoothly, no broken heels, no fights, and the entire production had been as elegant, vulgar, and beautiful as he'd planned it. A couple Queens preferred to show more, and say less...which offered a nice variety to the Queens who preferred a more "Broadway" style of performing. Carson was more prone to a show of elegance and a moody atmosphere. Perhaps it was his hopeless romantic showing through, who knows.

The night wasn't over of course, there were a few more acts to go up, and though he was supposed to be backstage making sure nothing burned down, he'd decided that 1) His head was not going to allow that, and 2) Cole had been oddly distant lately, and he was going to attempt to catch him at whatever he was hiding. Or...whomever. The latter was what had caused the previous nights over zealous Wine consumption. It wouldn't be the first time Cole had snuck off with some Bitch. Generally he just told everyone Cole was Gay, at least that cut half the problem out. So, on that note. He had gotten out of Drag, fixed his hair up so it wasn't a staticy mess, and collected his purse (Really just a glorified sack) and heels. He never left his favorite ruby pink heels at work, someone always thought they'd help themselves and stretch them out.

Climbing into his beat up Ford (2 door..white, ugly monstrosity of a vehicle, but whatcha gunna do.) Driving home, he was only a few blocks from the Apartment, when he spotted the back end of Cole's Chevelle. The paranoia set in so fast he nearly leapt from the driver's seat and pictured himself leaping through the window and putting the fear of God into that man. In reality, his hands tightened to a white knuckled grip. Truthfully, Cole could be going to the store...or somewhere that had nothing to do with being a shady shithead, but then again...maybe not. Driving on, he ended up a few streets down from where Cole had parked. Carson saw the Hooker climb into the car. Fucker fucker fucker. The words ran through his head like a wildfire. Tears threatened, but currently the rage was overpowering the heartbreak he was feeling. Hit now, cry later.

Cole moved on then, likely trying to find a nice quiet spot to enjoy himself at. It was grating to see he didn't even have the balls to go to a Motel. No. He had to go sneak off into the forest like some fucking creep. As they separated from the town, Carson killed the headlights, not wanting Cole to notice a car following him into the darkness. He stayed a good distance away, and waited until the lights went out on Cole's car. As soon as that happened, Carson climbed out of his truck slowly. There was a trepidation that was rising inside him, it was of course that sixth sense that screams at you that you're about to make a huge mistake, but unfortunately today was not going to be a day he listened to that voice. Grabbing one of the heels off the passenger seat (You know why!) He walks slowly down the dirt road, Cole's car was still a small distance down, as Carson had been to scared to get closer in the car. So by the time he was in a visible distance, his eyes had already adjusted to the darkness. He bit his lip hard as he suddenly sees Cole opening the trunk. Barely breathing, he freezes next to one of the trees, his heel held closely to his chest in a protective gesture. Watching Cole remove the bag and disappear again by the side of the vehicle, Carson starts to move forward again.

Now he was not more than 10-15 feet away from the Car, and it was then he saw Cole with a woman over his shoulder. He couldn't make out the gag or zip ties in the darkness, only that he was carrying her. He couldn't understand what he was seeing, it was terrifying to feel so isolated and confused. Part of him knew this was all wrong, horribly wrong. Then the memories of Cole talking about creatures he hunted, the Wolves and Vampires that supposed crept through the city unknown to the rest of us. Wasn't he just joking though? And this was no monster...just a woman on the streets. Feeling dizzy from not breathing properly, he swayed a bit and stepped forward without the previous care he'd ensured to not make a sound. The twig broke then, loud enough to startle anyone in the near vicinity, and obviously that was cause to panic, because Cole was not very far from where Carson was standing.

The moment he hears Cole's voice, the fear and emotions he'd held in came bursting through. He stepped out from behind a tree and stared Cole straight in the eyes. "What the fuck Cole?" The words were not angry at this point, the words trembled from his lips and became partially inaudible against the sudden sob that broke through his chest at that moment. Everyone in him screamed then. Run...run So he turned on his heels then and ran wildly down the dirt road, knowing in his heart that Cole wouldn't be far behind him.

(ooc: GACK. I tried third person. I dunno. I think I'll do first next time e.e I kept screwing up and going into first by habit. SO. Might as well give in, yuh? Yuh.)
