East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She laughs and I can't help but grin in response as I put my hands up in surrender. "Alright, alright, I'll take your word for it. If anyone's a good judge of beauty, it's you." Giving her another playful wink, I laugh when she says that most aren't worth talking to. "Maybe you just need a lesson in charm. I promise I don't charge much and I'm a good teacher." I smirk. She pushes the fact that she can't dance and I shake my head with a mock serious expression. "You're absolutely right. We can't have a queen that can't dance. That shall have to be remedied accordingly. Good thing you met me. I happen to be an expert dancer." I continue to tease and flirt innocently as we walk along the beach. When she looks to the boat, I follow her gaze. I do have a curiosity for old things and something tells me the boat has been around a while. I wonder what treasures it might hold inside, perhaps things even the Were's who call it home might not know about. Secret passageways and hideouts, things of the pirate days and such. I love mysteries.

I listen to her cautious warnings and nod. "Noted, though I doubt I'll be invited onto the Ark anytime soon. If as you say, they're not very fairy friendly." She seems much more at ease here on the beach at night than she did in the Burlesque. I like seeing this side of her. It seems much more like herself. When I assure her that I don't really have a Monarchy anymore, she shows her delight and I flash her a lazy smirk. "Oh not at all, my queen. I'm flattered." She starts to ask what I'm doing as I take off my shoes and socks, stepping into the shallow waves rolling in. The cold water chills my skin and I get goosebumps up my legs for a minute. I close my eyes, savoring the sensation before I turn back to offer her my hand. "I try." I say with a grin as she puts her things aside and comes into the water with me. I watch her shiver and chuckle lightly. "Don't worry. You'll forget all about the water in a minute." As she takes my hand, I move her into position with ease, placing one hand gently on her waist as I start to twirl and dance with her amongst the waves.

I dance to a sweet slow melody in my head that builds as time wears on but at first it's all about her comfort so I keep the beat slow and steady, even humming it for her as we twirl and spin. "See? You're a natural." I say as I spin her out away from me before pulling her back with a graceful dip before we continue to sway and dance. I wait until I can feel her relaxing into the beat before I smile. "Now you're ready for the intermediate lesson." I feel for the energy of others and when I don't feel anyone else near, I let my wings sprout from my shoulder blades, their blue sapphire jewels and green glowing veins glowing in the moonlight as I continue to spin and dance. The wings start to flutter, just a little, just enough to have our feet dancing off the ground just a few inches above the waves. I continue to hold her steady as we spin and twirl, my eyes twinkling as I smile. "Having fun yet?"
