Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

Sebastian could hardly deny how peculiar his newfound companion's words were. He'd never heard before of a bartender or otherwise whom might willingly ingest a large amount of substances to shield him from affinities such as his own, however, it was hardly short of ingenious. Weather or not that might protect him or not from Anna-Marie herself was certainly questionable to the vampire but he hardly protested. After all, this woman clearly had a notion of the vampire-child's demeanor and the fact that his maker had been so insistent to bring him to her made him assume that the pair had some sort of well established relationship. What it was, however, he wasn't sure and frankly, wasn't entirely certain that he wanted to ask within the first place. Instead, the man settled in the seat offered to him, his crystalline gaze watched the vampiric woman as she moved around the high class bar, pouring alcohol with a sort of ease that indicated she'd been in this business for quite some time. "I'm aware." Sebastian responded with a small simper as the woman placed the drink in front of him. The beverage was surely within the top of his list. "Thank you."

Sebastian leaned against the back of the bar booth, a soft sigh upon his lips as he brought the whiskey to his mouth. It wasn't often that Sebastian indulged with alcohol - at least not for the intent of any sort of emotional relief. More often than not, it was simply a byproduct of the fashion in which he attempted to allure his victims. But tonight, he was entirely out of his realm in every aspect. His vibrant gaze slowly shifted towards the young woman across from him, a weak simper crossing his features at the woman's question. She clearly knew Anna-Marie well. "Not this time." He admitted, though hardly expanded upon it. In fact, he'd only offered to truly 'play' with her once which had ended in a rather blatant disaster. Hell - every time he saw his maker it tended to end absolutely terribly. However, it was her next statement that truly caught Sebastian's attention, his crystalline gaze steadfast upon her as the woman commented that this change of Anna's emotional and mental state was a change from the demeanor she once had. His eyebrows raised ever so slightly as he placed his drink upon the table, leaning forward ever so slightly in clear interest.

"What was she like before? What happened?" The prospect that his maker might actually have some measure of sanity within her was certainly intriguing for him. Hell, it was almost instinctual for the man to want to bring her back to the state, as foolish as it was. They were, for lack of a better term, bound together for life. Unfortunately, she hardly seemed entirely willing to forget the details he had but glossed over before. A small frown crossed his features, despite the woman's compliment that he was indeed handsome (a prospect that usually would have prompted his more flirtatious demeanor). "I can't." He replied simply, his gaze dropping from her ever so slightly and back to his drink. He took it into his hands, leaning back against the booth. "She hunts me down, I expect she'll continue to do so now that she knows..." His voice trailed off, not entirely admitting what she knew and the fact he'd been aware of all along. After all, it was a bit...peculiar to admit that his maker was a loony child with an unquenchable blood lust. The memory of his death and his abandonment afterwards was still a relative soft spot for the man - much less the death's he'd caused in both figuring out his newfound existence and the subsequent denial of the monster he'd become.
