Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

"So...how ya been? The beach was nice, huh? Maybe we should do that again...No, no, that's stupid." I clear my throat. "Haven't heard from you in a few days. I was getting worried. You haven't been on that ship again, have you? Touched any iron railings? You've gotta get better at that....No, also stupid." I run a hand through my hair, kicking at the sidewalk beneath my feet as I glance back at the door mere feet from me. I should be knocking on it right now. I should be saying what I came here to say, that I've made up my mind and I do want to join her heirarchy, that I want to learn how to live with others again.

It's hard to think I'll be giving up centuries of living alone and for all I know, her heirarchy is made up of her and Dorian, the attractive fairy who doesn't know half the things I'm talking about. I know she'll be a great queen though. I know she's going to do great things. I have faith in her but more than that, I want her to have faith in herself. I feel like she needs someone to show her who she's meant to be and maybe I can help with that. I don't doubt that Dorian is great at protecting at her and such. He looks like he'd be great with a sword, just sayin. No one can give a pep talk like me, though.

Finally I muster up the courage and go to the door. Heaving a heavy sigh, I lift my fist and rap on the door. I haven't made this decision lightly and I know I probably won't blurt it out the minute she opens the door. She'll probably be wondering for an hour or so why I even came but I'll eventually get to it. Eventually.
