Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He was ready. As he stood in front of the apartment he once shared with Sterling, he held a bag of groceries. It wasn't often that Henry did any form of shopping, but he had figured dinner and a movie would be a fun night in for the two of them. So he had picked up some lamb shanks, potatoes, and ingredients for a salad. He had looked up recipes online to try and figure out what sort of things he might need for their dish (who was he kidding...Sterling would be making this dish). In the end he thought he had enough items. If he was missing something, oh well.

Also tucked away in the bag was a movie from RedBox. It was the latest "feel good" movie that he hoped Sterling might like. It was romantic, something that couldn't hurt when the state of their relationship was considered. All in all, he had a feeling that they would have a good night together. It would be just the two of them, some good beer, and company. What could go wrong?

Instead of knocking like he usually did, he simply invited himself into the apartment and closed the door behind him. He looked around, curious as to why the apartment was so quite. "Sterling? Are you home?" He took another step into the living room, his eyes scanning for any signs of life. "I brought us dinner and a movie..." He paused a moment, not wanting to let himself too far into the apartment. "I figured we could make dinner together if you're up for it..." Where was Sterling, anyhow? Perhaps he was asleep or in the shower. Shit. Did he wake him up?
