Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

virtue has a veil, vice a mask

Tonight she knew she was needed somewhere else. For some reason she knew that she was not supposed to be here at the warehouse district. With Tobi gone at Syn she had decided to catch up on her sleep before he came back wanting more attention, but failed to close her eyes and get some sleep. Restless she felt this uncanny and unknown reason as to the desire she had to be near the Witch she had saved in the outskirts. There were times when she had this overwhelming sensation to be near the woman, to simply watch her. At times she would stalk the young woman while she went in search of her herbs in the outskirts at night, keeping a safe and comfortable distance checking in to make sure she was okay should any danger come to her. Every now and then during the day she would sneak towards her house and simply watch as patrons came and went, silently watching for any signs of trouble. Had she stayed at night when her Mentor had his dangerous antics she would have protected Serafina long ago, but always once the desire to be close had faded she would simply run away. Yet tonight she knew she had to be near the woman, for whatever unknown reason, and so she leapt out of the hammock and raced out of the Devil's Den. With an uncanny knowing that the Witch would be at home she would run in that direction feeling a sudden urge to be near the woman.

As she neared the familiar house of the Witch, slate eyes narrowed as she noticed a familiar outline of a figure appear at the front porch. After her was a rather large frame of a male attempting to grab and steady his hold on her. A soft whimper came out from her as she felt a familiar rattle in her bones as she began to change. Lean limbs began to grow as her lithe frame turned into a much more gargantuan size, far unusual for any normal wolf. Massive paws slammed into the pavement as she rushed forward, her speed only increasing with the help of her new size and the seething anger of watching Serafina fall down the stairs. A booming growl rumbled deep within her chest as black lips pulled back to reveal a row of razor sharp teeth. Warm salvia dripped down as her jaw opened up when she neared the fallen Witch. Crossing the front yard her grey tinted banner was arched over her as she stalked closer towards the fallen girl, blue-grey eyes locked on the male that was slowly making his descent from the stairs. Standing beside Serafina her head would lower as her scarred muzzle gently pressed into the side of the girl, checking to see if she was okay. Slightly comforted to be near Serafina, her could nose would nudge her side gently, warm breath hitting the girl's young features as she brought her form closer to the girl. Lifting her head upwards she would place her body forward in a protective manner as a snarl rippled from the back of her throat' a dangerous hiss forcefully penetrating both Warlock and Witch's mind.

"Don't touch her."

The well-mannered girl was always a kind and caring creature, but in this moment those virtues were thrown aside. Instead she was in a different mind state, the need to protect the girl from a threatening male was the only thing that seemed to cross her mind. She had gone through her own abuse and while no one ever defended her, for some deep and personal reason, she felt she needed to be this Witch's protector. A simple warning was given to Serafina's mentor and it would be best if he gave heed to a rather pissed off bear-sized wolf. It would seem Raven was here to save the poor damsel in distress, again, but for a very different reason.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
