The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

we built this city on broken glass
It was infantile of him, perhaps, to question just who this 'Mason' fellow was and yet both that man and equine parts off himself were decidedly prone to a certain level of possessiveness, perhaps. Frost hardly of the opinion that this other fellow was any sort of threat to himself and yet he could hardly help at that curiosity that tugged at his thoughts. That faint roll of Nadya's eyes in turn hardly missed and yet Frost simply remained silent, his eyes focused upon that road as his girlfriend attempted to explain this Mason fellow and the evident desires her Father had evidently had for her and this boy- one who was apparently gay. Frost's own eyes rose slightly at that sentiment and yet his features remained impassive as always as he considered that very information. Homosexuality had been distinctly rare if not utterly unheard off within that place he was born and yet within the outside world it appeared to be more common then he had truly given it credit for. In the least it seemed this Mason was nothing and no one to concern himself with and yet if that boys pack was relying on him to produce some sort of heir they were surely to be disappointed. Nadya's insistence that Mason had been a good friend prompted that short nod from Frost himself.
"Perhaps I will meet him one day then."
In the very least he had little qualms about meeting someone Nadya seemed to enjoy the company off enough to confide in. The war horse satisfied enough with that very answer to allow that conversation to fall away and leave Nadya to her own thoughts for several moments longer. At least until his own words broke that silence yet again. A simper of sorts finding his lips in the wake of Nadya's insistence that he so tended to be challenging in most things he did. That, perhaps, one of the truest descriptions of himself he had ever heard. That easy chuckle humming within his throat then as his violet gaze flicked briefly from the road and to the woman beside him.
"You would be bored with someone less challenging than me."
The very jest within those words was surely clear and yet Frost found he meant it all the same. Nadya was determined, fiercely independent when she chose to be, clever, intuitive and while she surely excelled at being a Mother she seemed to thrive when a challenge of any kind was presented to her. Frost entirely determined to believe she would grow bored quickly with a lesser partner. That touch of amusement continuing to linger upon his features a few moments longer as the car accelerated along the highway. They arrived at that airport soon enough, Frost easily pulling into that space before helping Nadya unload those bags, his own single bag decidedly light and yet he'd become almost used to packing the bare minimum. Besides, a large portion off this trip would be spent within his equine form, his animalistic half hardly requiring that same amount of items his human half did. Nadya, he knew, had struggled to pack only one bag. Frost having assured his girlfriend of that chance to shop in any country she desired on the return home. That, in the least, seeming to placate the woman. Frost more then willing to attempt to distract her thoughts from that off her children and leaving them behind. The stallion already aware of how much she was sure to struggle with that idea only more the longer and longer they were away. A Mother's bond to her children, after all, did not break or lessen with time.
Frost easily led the way into that terminal then, leaving Nadya to mind those bags while he disappeared into that bathroom only to allow that illusion to take hold and conceal his natural appearance. After all, the airport was filled with cameras. The very kind that would report his presence within mere minutes to the nearest Council representative. Frost already assured he was on several 'no-fly' lists and as such those precautions were entirely necessary. How decidedly useful that power had become. Still, that matter of security proved taxing. Several of his documents checked and scanned before being checked again. Nadya ushered through fair more quickly even despite that controversy her hair seemed to cause even here. That soft chuckle of amusement humming beneath his breath as Nadya sighed at that officer.
"Now you know my struggle. White blonde hair seems to baffle small-minded people."
Those very words were uttered near teasingly to the woman again as Frost finally joined her. The equine having spent the better part of his life attempting to explain his hair. Nadya's, even though dyed, evidently prone to causing just as much confusion from those around her. Frost paused easily outside that boarding gate then and beside those lounges, his attention returned to his girlfriend with that more serious note of whether or not she need go over any more of those plans. The near foot of space she kept between them hardly missed and yet on this he made no effort to push. That shift in his appearance evidently making Nadya uncomfortable and in that he could hardly blame her. Frost simply choosing not to comment upon it as she queried how long it would take to reach that Training Center once they landed and how they would get in there when they did. The very question prompting a frown of sorts to the icelandic men's features and yet those cool, easy lyrics parted his lips all the same. Offering those answers in that simple, direct manner he so often did.
"We will land in Reykjavik and from there we should be able to drive for at least part of the way, an hour or two, until we reach the fjords. There are no roads from there. We'll leave the car and from there we will have to go on foot. As long as you're comfortable in the saddle I can trot for hours at a time which will make it faster then walking. Even so it will take us at least three or four days. It took me weeks last time but I was younger then and running blind in every direction. I have a map this time."
That previous journey he had made as little more than a teenager was perhaps one of the single worst experiences in all his life. He had held only a vague understanding of the world and had been veritably thrown into its deep end the day he had fled. No money, no food and no clothing save what he had worn that day and made that journey a taxing one. Those Hunter's whom had so relentlessly chased after him only making it all the more difficult. As for the getting in, that part, perhaps took a little more work.
"I can get us in. Getting out will be harder. I've done it before though, I have faith I can do it again."
He offered simply. Hopefully, this time, getting out would prove a far less...bloodied then the last time. Frost content to dismiss those thoughts for now as people began to line up and they called that boarding number. That vaguest of simpers finding the stallions lips in that moment as he gestured toward a separate, far smaller line to the side before beginning to lead the way toward it. This the line for first class. Those smooth, easy lyrics falling from his lips then.
"If I am going to make you ride for three days, I figure it was fair the rest of your travel was decent."
