South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

That night, oh that night was just...perfect. Everything went off without a hitch, which is actually quite surprising. Especially since it all could have gone south so quickly. Her mate was at his absolute best. He did such a wonderful job. They managed to say their vows to one another and it went splendidly. Everything seemed like a whirlwind. Only their makeshift family of misfits, with close and trusting friends partook in the celebrations. Everyone seemed just as cheerful as they were. Their guests were smiling and laughing, even their gloomy and aloof Alpha cracked a very rare simper, his smile reaching his emerald eyes. It was perhaps the only time Raven had ever truly smiled for a very long period of time. It seemed far too good to be true though. It must have been a fairy tale. It had to be. It just didn't seem possible. That night was absolutely magical. It was a dream, a dream that came true for a young woman that never dreamt she would one day find her missing half. The lupine knew that when she reopened her eyes she would find herself within that cell. Lying on her cot, her ankles with chains around it, that small barred window letting in a little bit of sunlight. It was such a lovely dream, one in which she had no desire to leave from, but she had to. She could feel her body start to move. Mentally whispering her beautiful dream goodbye, she regrettably opened her eyes.

Blue-grey eyes narrowed as she adjusted her vision noticing how dark it was. She could feel something quite warm next to her. Strange. She always slept alone, she was always cold. Turning her head she could make out a figure lying next to her. There was a gentle breathing sound coming from the figure. A small smile appeared on her face at the realization that the dream was actually a reality. The ever caring and shy woman did manage to find her the man that was her complete opposite, the best thing that could have ever happened to her. It was very rare for her to find her mate asleep at her side. Usually he was the first one awake running about. He seemed so relaxed and at peace. Perhaps they went a little bit too hard last night. As soon as they were done with the wedding they went to their hotel and spent the night together in bliss. Then they went on their flight in the morning, with little sleep, and came to their destination. With all that pent up frustration and energy she obliged to helping him get settled, pleased to have some fun together. She would pull herself up, slowly, and lie her hand under her cheek, while her other hand gently tousled his hair. He remained fast asleep. Her fingers would trail away from his hair and down to his face and handsome jaw. Leaning over gently she placed a kiss on his cheek.

It would be sunrise soon and their adventure would eventually begin. Luckily they were able to have sort of like a cabin in the trees, and have this luxurious hangout all to themselves. Staff were on hand to cook their meals, some would be their tour guides along the safari. Many of staff were actually Weres bringing a bit of ease to the woman. They could do as they like. If they wanted to stay within their tree-lodge they could. If they wanted to head out into the safari they could so long as they stayed on the trials, with a tour guide or not. She didn't want to leave him and the comforts of their warm bed, and yet she was wide awake, and she wanted him to get some good sleep. Moving out of bed, she made sure the covers stayed on him as she tip-toed away. Grabbing the soft white bathrobe off the hook, she pulled it over her naked form, tying the belt together hardly concerned with how unkempt she looked. Grabbing a water bottle from the little kitchenette she made her way over to the porch to look outside. Sitting herself down in a chair she set her water bottle on the table, and sighed softly watching the scene before her. The dark sky seemed a little bit lighter giving an early warning that a sunrise was starting to come. With the low-lighting within the community in the trees she could make out some of the animals that wanted to come to the waterhole straight ahead. Mostly prey, small little deer she had no clue what their name was, but they were about. Blue-grey eyes shifted upwards to look at the sparkling stars between the branches of the tree. Sighing softly, relaxed, she sat quite still waiting for the sunrise to begin.
