South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

He didn't say anything when she told him he didn't have to be professional with her. She almost expected him to say that since he was teaching her something, he did have to be professional, or something serious like that, but the smile threw her off a little. She raised a brow and was about to ask about it but then he started talking about things he did for fun and she was always easily distracted. She asked about other stuff and he admitted that he liked to read books. She was about to laugh but caught herself when she noticed that he looked a little....what? Embarassed? Well, that was just adorable.

Instead she smiled. "I always knew you were smart." She smirked, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Smarter than me, anyway." She said with a playful wink. She looked away afterward though, not wanting him to see the shame in her own eyes. She hated that there were things others could do that she couldn't, no matter how hard she tried. Like reading. He probably went to one of those fancy schools in town, too, like her friend, Miyako. She would have asked more about his reading, just because she didn't want him to feel embarassed about it but that's about the time he decided to push her into a wave.

She tried to stand but her balance wasn't all there so she ended up falling into the water. She started panic, but that's when she felt the arms around her. She instantly relaxed instead of fighting it, somehow knowing that it was Ashton, just as he said he would be. She curled against him instinctively, her body molding to his, enough to feel the hard ridges of his abs and chest right down into the uncomfortable tightness in his jeans pressed against her pelvis. My, that felt nice....

She could care less about the surfboard attached to her ankle at this point but she couldn't help but tease him a little. He turned red really quick when she spoke, stepping away and she felt instantly disappointed at the loss of his heat. She wrapped her own arms around herself, feeling more cold in the water now that she'd had a bit of heat for a moment. She tilted her head though, listening when he told her that he liked her. She knew it probably wasn't easy for him to say that, her lips curling slowly into a smile. "I like you, too, Ashton." Deciding to put him out of his misery, she moved to the board, slowly pulling herself onto the board and sitting up before she turned to him. "So....shall we go again? I'll try harder not to fall this time, promise." She added a little smirk.
