The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Kato Buhari
A simper of a smile crossed Kato's features at Edie nuzzled against his neck. Even though he couldn't talk to her along the way, his attention would divert each time she chirped or nibbled at him to look at something. "Those are dragon's blood trees. Their sap is red like blood." "Those are Pink Mink, they're a kind of Protea flower which is our national flower." "Those are Indian Roller birds. They are a farmer's best friend because they feed on the insects that destroy the crops. They'll even keep the home safe by eating snakes." "Those are grey-crowned cranes. They have a funny courtship dance but mate for life." Even though he had seen everything before, Kato enjoyed telling Edie about every colorful flower or scurrying animal they came across. From the brightly colorful blues of the swooping indian roller's to the sandy colored horned lizards, there was beauty in it all for him no matter how many times he saw it.
Although Kato probably wasn't as off-put as Edie with not being able to talk back and forth, there was relief in him when he was finally able to shift. In human form he could protect her in Sacrosanct, but out here he felt more capable of protecting her in his Were form. He didn't have the same fear as she did with stepping on her. Kato was amused watching her scurry around, only her head visible at some parts popping up above the tall grass level before making her way back to him. "Just don't fall." He warned softly. She was no cat and was unsure if a fall from his back would cause her to break something. Kato snuffed and snorted at the ground as he began to lumber forward through the savanna. The deeper into the preserve they went the more their surroundings came alive with all sorts of animals.
"Look, meercats." Kato swung his head slightly to motion off to the side where a family stood perched on a mound of dirt which was their family home. Their ever vigilant eyes fell on the rhino and chirps were made though in the cycle of things a rhino was normally of no threat to them so were largely unafraid of his lumbering form. Aardvark, mongoose, baboons, warthogs, and even jackals crossed their path. The giraffes, zebras, and buffalo herds they came across they pressed through without any trouble. Kato named and shared about every single one of them for Edie whether she knew what they were called or not. At this time of day now with the sun high in the sky, many were seeking to stay put or stick alongside the shallow wading pools of water created by the random rain showers. It was only the pride of lions that caused Kato to tense slightly as they walked by, eyeing them as they lay in the shade to ensure they didn't find the fox on his back as something worth the trouble of going after a rhino for.
It was a few more hours of trekking before that singular string which he hadn't felt in so long seemed to tighten and vibrate. Home. Kato lifted his head and there on the horizon he could make out the sloping mud huts. "We're here." There was renewed excitement to his tone as he stopped in his tracks. "I haven't been back in a while so it's best if we go in human." He slowly lowered his body to the ground to allow Edie the much safer distance to clamor off before he let the shift take over. Kato slipped on his pair of shorts and handed Edie her clothes as well. "Don't worry...ok?" He took Edie's hand and pulled her to his side in reassurance as he led her to his herd's 'pop-up' camp.
They hardly got far, barely more than halfway to the camp, before a small voice called out, "Uncle Kato!!!" And a few children in ranging ages seemed to pop up from the grass out of nowhere and come hurrying over to the couple. The one child at the healm of the group, a little boy appearing about 8, called out again. "You're back, you're back!!" And with a wild leap of faith the smallest boy at his side appearing only 3 jumped at Kato. Kato had to release Edie and with a huge grin caught the boy easily and lifted him high into the air for a quick toss up before putting him back down on his feet once more. "Where did you go? Did you see the big statues and all the water?" The eldest boy questioned as he clamored to hang on Kato's other arm which Kato lifted him in quite literal bench curl fashion with a deep chuckle escaping him. The other children milled about in front of them, all in varying degrees of undress with the small one whom Kato had tossed into the air being the only completely nude one. Kato affectionately pressed a hand down on the boy's head, ruffling his hair before glancing to Edie. "This is Mosi, Amare, and Ekene." He motioned to the 8, 5, and 3 year old, "My brother's sons. Boy's, this is Edie." The other 5 children he didn't introduce at the moment though they had their gaze inspecting Edie and whispering into each other's ear in their native tongue. Kato's brother's sons settled their enthusiastic greeting of their uncle to look at Edie as if seeing the pale woman for the first time.
