The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Lately time at the Devil's Den had been quiet, far too quiet to her liking. For some reason she hadn't seen Lucian in a very long time. Business was doing very well, but why he wasn't around as often she had no idea. Luckily for her, and possibly for him, she was pretty good at the managing side. Making sure her coworkers and herself got paid, keeping things in stock, paying the bills needed in order to keep the place running, and taking in the orders as they came. She rather enjoyed this sense of new found independence and freedom. Knowing full well she could stay in the warehouse, whether it remained active or not, she did not wish to see it go down the drain. Working gave her a sense of direction, it kept her busy and gave her something to do, and she needed it, if only so she could continue moving forward instead of looking at the past.
The previous night she had spent her time in the warehouse managing to keep charge of the stock and making note on what they needed to order for their next shipment. Though she was distracted by a certain spotted feline that wished to play game, a painful game. Why Lucian taught Tobi paintball guns, she did not know, but she hoped that last night's battle throughout the warehouse taught the boy a lesson. She had a good eye and a deadly aim, and she wasn't afraid to take the vital shot when needed. Though both their skins were marked with brises from the paintballs they shot at one another, both simply laughed and ignored the pain. Though she was feeling sore earlier this morning she got up to finish her counting, saying her goodbyes to Tobi before he set off for Syn to guard the Vampire that controlled him and his friend Tetra. As explained to her, it was something she could not fix, but that didn't mean she still pitied him.
Leaving the warehouse she walked through the West district unconcerned with her surroundings until she had noticed the scent of a familiar male hunter. Lately that blonde fool had been chasing her every now and then. True, she took his boot as a reward when he trapped her in his trap, then stole his pants to wreck some havoc on him, but really she wished he would just leave her alone. Running through the West, trying to get to the East it was better if she managed to elude him on four legs than two. Though that was a rather difficult thing to do. I mean, a wolf running through the streets would surely cause an alarm for those unaware of the supernatural world. Though luckily she managed to lose him which for some reason was strangely odd. He was lightning quick and there were a few close calls, but how she managed to get away from him was beyond her and she hoped this would be something she could keep up later down the road. Shifting back into her vulnerable flesh she moved from the alleyways and back towards the street, searching for the address that Alexis had written down earlier. She had managed to put on a black skirt and teal and black blouse as soon as Tobi left the warehouse. Just because she had to be around him didn't mean she couldn't still have her own privacy. Slate eyes noticed the familiar figure of Alexis, and a grin slowly crept on her scarred façade as she stopped in front of the girl.
"I'm sorry I'm late...I ran into a Dark Hunter and I couldn't have him come near you. So, what was it you wanted to show me?"
