The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
He was a little surprised to see just how excited she was that he had never been to an arcade. He knew what they were, he'd walked by them many times as a child so desperately wanting to venture inside as a child. However, he had never actually been inside or tried to play the games. He was happy that she could finally show him something he was unfamiliar with...something that he didn't think would be hurtful to his beliefs.
He followed behind her silently as she lead the way towards the arcade. He was glad the walk was in relative silence for now. It allowed him a moment to calm his hormones and get his body back into a state that he much preferred: unaffected. He wasn't exactly sure he liked the feeling of being all wound up with no way to relieve that tension. Perhaps one day he might learn just how to relieve that tension, release that sexual energy. But not today.
She asked him what he planned to do on the next full moon and he answered that he would still shift and run by himself until he found a pack of his own. She pleasantly suggested that perhaps they might run with one another one day if they ran into one another. He nodded. "I usually like to be down by the beach..." He was suggesting that if she wanted to find him in his were form, she might be able to find him along the beach. He had always loved the water and surfing, so being there was always so peaceful to him.
He walked a few more steps in relative silence before he asked her if she was upset that he refused to shift with her. He knew she really wanted to share that part of herself with him...but he simply could not when he felt as though that simple act of shifting and running together was intimate. Even if she were to catch him on the full moon, even that was an intimate act. He didn't want to outright tell her no, though. She didn't seem too upset by it, but she was very open about her enjoyment of the lack of clothes. He was a little surprised by that. He much preferred clothes on. But he supposed she was right, they came from very different backgrounds.
However, the moment she mentioned his wandering eyes, he felt a deep red blush cover his cheeks. For a moment, he was quite happy that the streets were relatively dark at this time of night. "I was trying to keep my gaze away out of respect...but you kept moving into my line of sight." He truly hadn't meant for his eyes to ever rest on her naked body. But when she just stopped and took off her clothes, it hadn't given him any time to look away. And if he was honest with himself, it was hard to look away when he was presented with something he'd never seen before.
But finally, they were at the arcade and he decided that it was probably for the best. Now they could focus on the room full of games instead of the awkward conversation they would probably be having otherwise. He stepped into the arcade, looking at several of the games and listening to her describe some of her favorites. In the end, he settled on a pin ball machine. He took out a quarter from his pocket and put it in the slot. He pulled back on the lever and released, eyes watching as a ball was shot up to the top of the game board. He placed his hands along the side buttons and pressed them a time or two to figure out how the game worked. As the little silver ball came close to the bottom of the game, he hit the buttons and watch the ball fly back up towards the top. He did this until the little ball made it past his defenses and the words "game over" flashed over the screen.
Pausing, he stepped back from the game and looked to Malia. "This is fun." He looked around the room to see what he might be interested in playing next. He searched his pocket, realizing he only had enough for a couple more games.
