Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
The Ripper
William Jack Holloway
It was almost immediate that the man's hands caught at the girl, his Hunter's instincts calling to him readily as he so swiftly moved to catch her. The blush that crept into the woman's cheeks caused the man to smile. How cute she was with that blush and the way she tried to hide between the curtain of hair. She reached up so gently to tuck a strand of that white hair behind her ear and William was utterly captivated by the laugh that escaped the girl. Her laugh had an almost musical tone to it, and the grin that spread across his features only intensified by the words that escaped her lips. "Definitely worse ways, kitten." He laughed as his eyes raked the girl's outfit. "You do look good in black, but I won't deny the appeal of blue. It was always my favorite color," He chuckled as his eyes flashed to the red of her lips. "Although, I can't deny that I love red..."
The girl made him pause as she ran her fingers through his hair. That gentle tug of his hair was enough to grab at his attention, but it was nothing compared to the touch that trailed down his jawline. In that moment, William was positive that they wouldn't make it out of the hallway. He was entirely distracted by the red of her lips and the way she felt against him. But then she so quickly moved out of his grasp, leaving the man gaping for just a moment at the beautiful girl. He couldn't deny the way he trailed along after her like a lost puppy as she led them through the apartment building and back to the street where he'd just came from. He laughed to himself at her comment, shaking his head. "I would love to see that Vhalla," He commented, falling into step beside her without any effort whatsoever. The perks of having long legs, he supposed.
But it was the comment of rescuing him that had him laughing, his head shaking as he so readily wrapped his arm around her waist. He let it settle on her hip as he drew her into his side, leaning down to plant a kiss on the crown of her head. "As if, princess. I think I'll be the one saving you." He nuzzled his nose then into her hair before he leaned up, grinning at the mention of where they were going. "Honestly?" He commented, laughing softly as a blush crept into his own features. "I didn't expect that you would be here when I showed up. I was convinced you'd stand me up." He chuckled to himself. "I'm glad you didn't, though I must admit that I'm a poor bloke who doesn't have a bloody clue where we're going for the evening."
"Now," He commented, his fingers toying idly with the fabric of her dress as they walked down the sidewalk. "Back in my day, I would take you for a walk around the park. Now, I'm not so sure. This is your city, do you have any ideas love?"
But darling -- it's only human nature.
