Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

you were the answer to my dreams

"You could always choose a Sauvignon Blanc." She uttered softly as the young woman so clung onto his shoulder, her hand once again rising to touch the mark on her neck that he'd left but moments ago in the back of the liquor store. "Everyone likes a good Sauvignon Blanc.". His now crystalline gaze eyed the bottles before him, the names of only half of the vineyard of any true meaning to him. "I'm not going to bring her a bottle with a pig on it." The vampire uttered, so eying the one the young woman had plucked from plethora that lined the shelves of her store. She eyed the bottle, putting it back to pluck one with a shell instead. Sebastian shook his head, his crystalline gaze shifting over the array before choosing one with an ivory flower on the label. The girl beside him nodded ever so firmly, "It's a good year. Expensive though.". Expensive - yes, that explained Sebastian's taste entirely well. "Wrap it in something nice for me, will you doll?" He inquired, handing to her whilst he perused the shelves. He could hardly deny she had a plentiful stock, the vampire would make a point to return here, even if it was only for their delectable dessert wines.

Not but ten minutes later, Sebastian found himself in the blustering wind of the rapidly chilling autumn air, a single black and white wine bag dangling from his fingertips. His bright blue eyes briefly brushed over that watch upon his wrist, a small frown so gracing the man's features. He was cutting it close and yet, he had wanted to be certain to find some food prior to this dinner party he found himself headed to. At the very least, Sebastian was entirely aware that not everyone was nearly as understanding of his perhaps more....peculiar needs for sustenance. Many individuals did not enjoy being looked at as if they were food and Sebastian didn't intend to utilize his own abilities of manipulation to get through tonight. No, he was making an effort to appear as...well, mortal as possible, given the circumstances. It was silly, he was aware, to find even a hint of nervousness within him at meeting this woman but it was no secret to him that Dorian cared for her greatly. Still, he effortlessly bounded up those stairs to that flat he had been within only but twice before.

The vampire paused in front of that door, a soft, steadying breath taken before he gingerly rapped his knuckles against the wood, his hand falling to his pocket whilst he so awaited. It was peculiar really, how finally meeting that woman seemed to so set him on edge - and why really? After all he spend his evenings so persuading others to do far much more than merely eat a meal with him. Still, he could not escape this, he could not escape her. He hardly had long to contemplate this very fact, however, before that door in front of him opened to present him with the warm simper of the man he found himself so utterly cherishing. "Good evening, Dorian." He uttered softly at the fae King's presence, his voice surely holding a hint of his affection for the fellow before he was gestured further into the room. He stepped in, his vibrant gaze immediately turning towards the young woman his companion so strove to introduce him with.

It was but a momentary second in which his smile faltered, recognizing the face that so stared back at him and yet, he so effortlessly fell back into those polite mannerisms that had been so demanded of him from his years spent in court. He knew her. Not only did he know her, but she was the one individual in perhaps the entirety of the city that he perhaps would have actively made an effort to avoid. And of course she was the woman he was supposed to appease. His gaze remained entirely trained upon her, watching the young woman for any indication on what she might do. After all, he had never spoken even a hint of that evening to Dorian, his own explanation of that time with his maker but entirely short and vague. What would Dorian think of him once he discovered this encounter? He could hardly help the fashion at which his affinity so reached out towards her, ready at a moment's notice to so tilt the odds within his favor. He would not let her ruin that gloriousness that he had found within the arms of his lover. And yet, despite such concerns, Sebastian made every effort to remain entirely as cordial as he might if he never knew the woman at all, offering her his hand with a bright simper as he uttered softly, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Samantha."
