Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
She seems to like that I agree with her about Nadya. I haven't met the girl but I'm betting the title is pretty accurate. I see nothing to dislike about Edie so far so I have to go against Nadya instead. I raise a brow when she says that her alpha is in love with Nadya. I'm betting this information is not something she would normally share. The alcohol truly is a magical elixir. I scowl softly at her questions. "I'm sure you're plenty good enough, darling. He's just confused. He doesn't know that he's looking at silver when he's got gold right in front of him." I smirk, giving her a playful wink. I sense her pause when I ask what she wants of me. She seems to consider before she pulls me in close again and says that for tonight, I am hers. My gaze grows distant. There was a time when the options would be limitless to what I would do to her, especially in a cemetery. It is one of my favorite places to be. But I just got Isolt back and I'm not willing to jeopardize that. She has someone that I'm sure she wants to go back to. So what would I show her tonight if not a good time in the nude? Hm, there are other possibilities. I smile when she mentions whoever I have. Isolt is the first and only thing on my mind. "Mmm, tempting." I growl against her flesh. "How about I put us on more even ground?" I don't usually volunteer to lose my clear thinking but it was fun with Isolt so why not? I'll drink some fairy blood and we can see how much fun we have drunk together. Who knows what kind of trouble we might run into? The night is still young. I smirk when she grins and tells me that she can hook me up with a fairy queen. I bet that blood is divine. My eyes sparkle at the very notion but I'm sure Isolt wouldn't approve. I tilt my head to listen as she tells me that her alpha hates the alpha of the Nightshade pack. So Tetris is dating a fairy? How open minded of him. Of course Were's don't experience the same lust for fairy blood that vampires do. She must be pretty then, though not as pretty as Isolt, I'm sure. His loss. He should have moved in while I was away. How foolish of him to take up a fairy instead. Oh well. Isolt is mine and he has someone to distract him. Good. "I would agree with your alpha on this one. There's just something about that panther that sets my teeth on edge. He's right to dislike him. Maybe I should meet this fairy queen sometime. Should be interesting." I give her a wicked grin. She tells me what I already know, the panther's name. I always call him Tetris though. Sounds better to me. The fairy is called Samantha apparently. I file the name away for future reference. That should come in handy if I need to one up the stupid cat. I tilt my head, intrigued. "Oh, do tell. I bet it is hilarious." I bait her, wanting to know what her alpha is up to. Anything to get under Tetris' skin is alright by me. As my teeth rake her neck, she starts pleading and I feel my body tense hungrily at the urgency in her voice. I do love it when they beg. And so I give it to her, sinking my fangs into her neck as my arms encircle her hips to hold her in close. To any outsiders, it would look like two lovers deeply entwined, embracing like the last time they'll ever be together. I know one can sometimes get weak from the sensations so I help hold her weight up, ready to carry her if needed. She's not merely a snack I would leave lying around after. Oh no, I'll give her the compliment of dropping her off wherever she needs to because I actually enjoy her company. I like her spunk and wit. I like her sharp tongue. My tongue cleans up any blood that trickles past my teeth, not wanting to make a mess on her clothes but over time, I've become a very clean eater. I drink only enough to fill me up, not wanting to take more than needed so I don't weaken her. When I'm done, I prick my own finger and trace the fang marks of her neck lightly, watching them heal instantly. I smirk at her. "That way no one has to know our little secret." I give her another playful wink. |
