East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Chizue was a terrible waitress - of that she had no doubt. Behind the backs of their employers, even the wait staff made a point to ensure she knew well what they thought of her and her rather diminutive tips surely contributed to that. She did her best, honestly, she made sure she got everyone's orders and their drinks were never fully empty but, on her best of days, she was antisocial and quiet and on her worst her mood swings from her feeding left her in any number of states she couldn't even begin to prepare for. Frankly, she wasn't even sure why Isolt or Damon were so insistent on keeping her around - but they were. And so she kept coming. Tonight was certainly one of her better ones, as far as things went anyways. It had been exactly three weeks since she'd eaten, it made her utterly exhausted but her tables had been served and she just had her last tray of drinks to serve and then this group would be out of her hair. A soft breath left the young girl's lips as she filled her tray with their refills, carefully balancing the three drinks with care as she stepped back onto the main floor. A small smile crossed her lips though it was rather forced by any means.

A brush of a hand upon her shoulder was enough to cause the young woman to pause, a soft huff leaving her lips as she resituated the beverages on the tray in front of her. She turned towards the man, her instincts immediately plowing into her as she stared at that warm simper upon his features and for a moment, the young woman hesitated. Immediately her natural reaction was the fear that even now still was at the back of her tongue. But Drago had promised he'd ensure she would stay safe if she did exactly as he said - and she had tried her best. She swallowed, unsure of what to do. Maybe he was one of Drago's friends here to deliver a message to her. He was cute. A blush immediately spread across her already too pale cheeks as she stared at him, contemplating her options. Then again - he could also be sent here by Drago to do away with her too. Still, Drago himself had hardly seemed particularly kind and he himself had made it clear he could do just that all the well on his own. She shook her head from side to side, pressing the thoughts from her brain. Isolt told her the day she started to always be on her best behavior and she had promised she would.

There were a few precarious seconds in which she wobbled with her drinks, stepping beside the man to push the tray onto the bar next to him. "Um....here you go." She muttered softly, digging around at the small black apron around her waist to fish a few napkins for the man. She placed the wad in front of him, a small frown crossing her lips as she regarded the state of the bar. Her gaze drifted towards her table, glancing at the level of drinks of her patrons before back at the refills on her tray, the bar in front of her, and then a timid glance at the Dark Hunter himself. For a moment she fretted on what to do, after all, it was her job to ensure everyone was happy to the best of her capabilities but she wasn't sure if his kind was too included in that list. "Um..." The word left her lips again, a soft sigh crossing her lips. "Give me a second." She made her way around the bar, shifting through the objects on the other side despite how upset she knew the bartender would later be at her. A small frown crossed the petite girl's features before she found what she was looking for - the bar rag. Chizue fetched it, folding it neatly in a square before, with decided precision, wiping down the area in front of the hunter till it was dry and clean to the touch. "There, all better now!" The girl seemed quite pleased with herself, despite the circumstances. Hey - if she made one customer happy tonight she'd call it a success. Just one.
