Sebastian Ellington-Aragona
His Royal Highness, Prince of Italy
"Thank you, your highness, we'll see to the changes immediately." The man beside him uttered, his briefcase snapping closed with an audible click. The crystalline blue of Sebastian's irises watched as the case was lifted from the bartop he sat at, only for the man to dip downward in a brief bow.
The very last thing Sebastian had anticipated was the sudden bursting of the stairwell door on the far opposite side of the rooftop terrace. The hammering of a heart called to his predatory instincts and inquisitively the vampire's crystalline gaze turned towards the source of the noise, his own position upon the terrace left him just outside of the woman's view and her out of his. A small frown traced his lips as his guard's moved, the two men more than prepared to deal with that interruption to the Prince's solitary. A slight gesture from Sebastian was all that was required to see them pause and slowly, the vampire rose from his stool in front of the bar. Curiously, the vampire made his way around the corner of the bar, only to pause at the sight of a young woman settled at the edge of the building, her fingers gripping the glass railing so hard that even Sebastian could see the white hue to her knuckles. It hardly took the vampire long to notice those blonde curls. How well he knew Carolina's figure, even from behind. A small simper traced his features at the very memories her presence dredged up. Their last night together had been nothing if not...wholly alluring. How he had enjoyed both her undoing and taking his own husband in the aftermath of her teasing! His fingers lightly twirled the ring upon his left hand, that wedding band steadfast upon his ring finger. It was that promise to Dorian alone that kept the vampire at a distance as he leaned against the edge of this side's bartop.
"You look like you've seen a ghost." His British accent rang out in the silence of the rooftop bar, the beat of the music downstairs all but a dull steady thrum in the backdrop. Sebastian was well aware he would near instantly gain her attention. His very voice seemed to shatter the thoughts that seemed to provoke her own clear...anxiety? Perhaps? It was...peculiar to see the girl in such a state and yet, even the last time they had met, she had seemed less at ease than all those years ago. Nevertheless, Sebastian stayed where he was, choosing, this time, to let the girl come to him if she saw it fit to. If she wished her distance, and her silence, the vampire would certainly allow her such. He knew well how unpleasant the past could be when left to fester, much less how...dreadful it was to be required to share such things with others.
