North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

It was a lot harder than it looks to shop for a person who wasn't even alive yet. He was finding that out more and more. As the days drew closer, Kit tried to spoil Sam, making her rest as much as he could and he'd go out and do the errands like shopping and anything else that needed to be done so she didn't stress herself. He couldn't wait for the baby to come, but he was nervous. He tried to tell Troy about it, but his brother just laughed at him. "You're going to be a natural," he'd tell him and pat him on the back. "If I can be a dad, then I have no doubt that you'll be ten times better. You were always more mature than me." Kit had to agree with that, but it didn't make his nerves go away.

"Excuse me, miss. Where are your strollers?" He asked the lady in uniform. "Down aisle five, sweetheart." She said with a smile before going back to stocking the baby food. Nodding his head, Kit followed her directions and the signs to the correct aisle, only to find himself looking at about ten different models. "What the..." His voice trailed off as he sighed and ran a hand through his hair. How was he going to pick the right one? Could Sam talk him through it? Could Troy? If he sent her pictures, would that be enough to go on? He was in way over his head and the baby wasn't even here yet.
