What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

After her honeymoon Raven was slowly getting settled back into her life at Sacrosanct. Not much had changed while she was gone. The pack remained just as stable and strong as before. Serafina was alive and well. Apparently Azrael obeyed her orders that no harm should ever come to her raven-haired witch. Because, if something happened to her witch Azrael would have to suffer the consequences. What those consequences were she had no idea, but she would have thought of it if it occurred. Thankfully for his sake she didn't have to come up with a punishment. Now that she was home it was time to get back into the swing of things and reconnect with those she hadn't seen in quite a while. Today she was excited to see a close male friend of hers. The last time she saw the Fae King was during her wedding ceremony and reception. He had fretted over his attire and she found it quite amusing. The man could wear a rotten old potato sack and still look handsome. He did a wonderful job leading her down the aisle and keeping her calm. Those nerves of hers were rattling her that night and she was grateful that he was there that night to keep her level-headed.

Today though wasn't all about her. Thankfully it wasn't, because she hated having a lot of attention. The lupine was eager to see the man. There was much that they could discuss. She wanted to spend some time with her friend and what better way than to have tea. Due to his pristine status with the public they didn't have the luxury to waltz into any public setting without him being watched. She wanted her friend to be capable of speaking freely without thinking someone was observing him or listening in. It would be a terrible faux pas should he speak of something he shouldn't say aloud with prying ears. Thus she was coming to him and his residence. Last time she came here she was bombarded by paparazzi asking her questions, shoving their cameras in her face. During that time it was after he announced his engagement to Sebastian, and the media portrayed it as the modern royal marriage of the century â€" far more popular than the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Stepping up towards the door she knocked on it gently waiting patiently for the door to open. Today she managed to dress herself a little bit more formal than usual. As soon as Charles opened the door she gave him a small simper and muttered a gentle hello. Shrugging off her jacket she hesitantly gave it to him. Having people do things for her was still something she was uncomfortable in experiencing. A familiar woman gestured for her to follow her out towards the garden. Obediently she followed the woman walking through those other rooms she hadn't seen before, noticing they were passing the library, where there were many books stacked neatly in their shelves...oh how she'd love to spend an afternoon browsing his collection. Along the verandah there was a table with two chairs already set with tea and some light snacks to munch on. Tucking some of her golden-brown curls behind her ear she sat down at one of the chairs, thanking Emma as she poured the tea. With another soft thank you she looked out over towards the garden, sighing softly, waiting for her friend to make his appearance.
