Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

he was both everything you could ever want
and nothing you could ever have

The Italian Prince was, admittedly, a touch disgruntled at that pressing need to attend dinner, particularly with that scent that so cloyed their very bedroom, coaxing to life a plethora of desires that could not be satisfied by a dinner party. A soft, despondent breath left his lips as Dorian's fingers intertwined within his own, guiding him from the comforts of their elaborate estate and onto the Northern streets. It had been some time since the royal couple was allowed to walk to any sort of public destination. Even since their wedding, even Sebastian's independence had become drastically less as the eyes of the world had turned with such fixation upon them. His 'hunting' had all but dissipated into simply choosing whom amongst their shared staff he desired for the evening, beyond those few outside souls he was allowed to feast upon after a plethora of non-disclosure agreements had been signed. How much had changed within the once-eternal bachelor's life in the span of a singular year and yet, he had little desire to be anywhere else than at the side of the Italian King. A bemused simper crossed his features at the clear joy his husband took in each of those lavish gardens they passed, the best features of which were sure to make an appearance in the expansiveness of their own grounds. That walk, however pleasant, was altogether short, however, as the couple quickly found their way upon Amelia and Troy's doorstep.

It was, perhaps, only the promise of 'later' that sedated those lingering desires within him as the vampire turned to take up that etiquette so expected of him both as Royalty and as an Englishman. After all, Sebastian knew well Dorian's fondness for Troy. The vampire and fae couple were the first of the King's companion's to accept Sebastian in turn. The front door opened but a moment's later to the smiling face of Amelia. The incubus was hardly oblivious to the very beauty of the dress she had chosen for tonight, much less the way it hugged her hips and every curve with just the appropriate touch of allure. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly, however, at the sheer presence of that lust that seemed to accompany her, the very sort of pheromones that the vampire alone was capable of noticing. It seemed as if Dorian and himself were not the only ones regrettably dragged apart if only for tonight's festivities. He kept such observations to himself, however, as that warm simper crossed his own features at Amelia's greeting. "Good evening, love." He responded to the woman before his hand fit firmly within Troy's own. "Good evening, Troy." Sebastian was all but content to allow Dorian to answer as to just how well they were finding their own married life and yet, he could all but see the joy that seemed to radiate from the couple in front of him. He had little doubt they would not find marriage particularly...enjoyable.

Sebastian trailed behind both Dorian and Amelia as the woman led the way towards her parlor. His gaze skirted over the numerous bottles behind the bar and yet, he was quick to merely follow his lover's suite. "Wine would be lovely." Sebastian was, after all, hardly inclined to put his hosts out in any fashion. His attention, however, was drawn from that bar by the sound of another voice, faint though it was. The sound of running so quickly followed suit, the vampire well tuned to his lover's movements as the Monarch stepped closer towards him, his own hand falling upon the King's waist in a gesture far more protective despite its wholly affectionate appearance. His own predatory senses were all too quick to inform him just of the child's nature - the very knowledge that she was a vampire, however, only further suggested this was the same tiny baby they had met at their own wedding but months ago! Sebastian's eyebrows furrowed as he eyed the young woman caught within Amelia's arms. Even Sebastian was not immune to that astonishment upon his features as the girl held out her arms for Troy. How...baffling it was that their daughter had grown when his own maker had forever been immortalized as a child. His own head tilted to the side, even though he felt the weight of Dorian's gaze upon him. ".....how....is this possible?" The vampire found himself inquiring, even though that sentence was far more prying than he usually allowed himself to be.

There was a wary part of the vampire that disliked seeing Dorian's hand reach out to the girl. His maker, after all, was the only experience Sebastian had with child vampires. Dorian's meeting with Anna-Marie, after all, had gone nothing short of terrible. Even so, Sebastian was hardly inclined to show his discomfort, the man merely watching as his lover caught himself only to comment aloud that, perhaps such formalities were not yet appropriate for the small girl. A small simper crossed his features as Troy commented upon the very length of his own name, "Seb is fine, it's nice to meet you Tenley. Will you be joining us for dinner?" He inquired, making some effort, all the same, to include the young girl in the conversation even if he was unaware of whether or not she had reached the age of talking...after all, this growth was quite near unprecedented in a child, he was sure. It was the mention of Tenley's diet however, that drew his gaze back towards his lover, prompting within him that protective concern over his husband all over again.
