East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha could so readily feel the way the remorse he felt for her situation washed over him, and it was that alone that had her bounding to distract herself. She certainly wasn't sure if he was this nice to any faerie - and she certainly wasn't this trusting of them - but his kindness was enough to have her forcing herself up to her feet, tugging him along with him. She was glad that he was willing to lift himself - she certainly wasn't strong enough to force him along - and that he seemed willing to come along with her. She was feeling remarkably confident as she proclaimed herself to be his guide for the evening, and the wink he offered her caused a girlish giggle to leave her lips.

There was something about the faerie man that was remarkably enticing to the blonde queen. It was so rare that the young woman trusted her own species. She had trusted Ivy because Raven had brought her to Samantha. Raven trusted her, and thus Samantha knew that she could, as well. She trusted Dorian because of how well she knew him, how their initial meeting he had been so helpless given his incident with the dark hunters that had kidnapped him. There was nothing about Troy that automatically told her to trust him, and yet innately she knew that she was able to.

A grin spread across her features as he held the door open for her, her title slipping from his lips. There was something that made her so incredibly happy that he respected her title, that he used the proper terms to speak with her and treated her as though she was someone to be respected. Coming from the burlesque, where so many of the girls still sneered at her, it was a huge change. "Thank you," She replied happily as she stepped out and into the street, offering the bouncer a wave before she led him down the street. It had quieted since the last time she was here. Most people had either gone home for the evening or into the clubs.

Normally, the empty streets and the darkness that lingered would be enough to cause the woman to tense and grip at the pepper spray that was within her bag. But having Troy near her, she merely smiled warmly and let herself relax. "Secret hangouts?" She shook her head, laughing softly as she looked over at him. "I'm not quite that elusive, or cool." It had seemed so simple to lead him out of the burlesque, but now it was certain she had no idea where to take him.

"I hang out in the West side," She said finally, looking over at him. It was true, wasn't it? She was either at her home in the West, or at the Ark. Did that count as secret hangouts? "I live over there, and if I'm not at my house I'm at the Ark. It's basically a Were fighting ring. They don't... take too kindly to faeries." She chuckled to herself at the memory of her first time there, when she had been looking for Aiden and had ran into Raven instead. "I have an in with the owner, you could say. So I get in."

She wasn't sure exactly why she didn't mention he was her boyfriend, other than that she didn't want Troy to know just yet. For so many of the supernaturals she had met, they knew her as the girlfriend of Aiden Tetradore. Troy, perhaps, was the first person who treated her as a queen without the ties she had to a certain Alpha. That alone was enough to have her quiet for now about him.

"It's not that interesting though, unless you like blood." She said simply. "I like to go for walks at the beach, as well. Let's go there. Sacrosanct has beautiful beaches."
