Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

It had hardly occurred to the vampire that his own promiscuous life might have been a subject of great distress for his companion. His own usual debauchery had been entirely subdued of late, half entirely due to his trip with his maker and half if only because whomever he took failed entirely to compare to the fairy ruler that had of late so occupied his mind. Sebastian himself was entirely assured that his companion was engaging in the same number of sexual encounters that he himself so usually did. He had thought he was but one in a string of Dorian's own lovers and had little reason yet to believe otherwise and thus, subsequently, too had little reason beyond his own decreasingly lackluster view of others to stop his actions. And yet, regardless of the numbers in which Sebastian engaged within, they altogether failed to touch the man's heart, not when it had so entirely been absorbed by one particular fae. The King had all but stolen it from Sebastian even before the vampire himself knew it and now that he recognized his increasing affections, returning to but silence was all the more concerning for the Englishman.

It was those three simple words that gave Sebastian the slightest of glimpses into what this position of Dorian's favored had meant. The fae King had noticed his absence, he had noticed exactly how many days had passed since their evening within his bathtub - a moment that Sebastian himself had often reflected upon during those few moments he had gotten in the past few weeks without Anna Marie's presence. It was entirely reassuring, to know that, somehow, Sebastian had made enough of a mark to not be forgotten - at least, not by Dorian. It was that warm feeling that had so invaded his breast that had entirely contributed to the vampire's efforts to offer what genuine reassurance he was capable of to assuage whatever concerns the King had only but briefly hinted at. In this game of such veiled emotions, Dorian certainly excelled far better than even Sebastian himself. The vampire found himself constantly putting himself, and too, his infatuation out on the line for the fairy king - mirrored entirely by the way in which Sebastian stepped forward despite his perhaps better judgement to close the legions of distance that he so felt between them.

The vampire was wholly aware of Dorian's hands upon his hips as he so delicately pressed his lips against his companion's, his body stepping ever so slightly closer into that of the fairy's at the silent bidding of the King's hands. His thumb so gingerly caressed Dorian's cheeks, regardless of the charcoal that stained his cheek. His promise was but a quiet whisper upon his lips and yet, there was a certain sternness to them as if he was not to be argued when it came to this. Of this, he was entirely steadfast and yet, the singular word he was given in response was enough to see the vampire change the topic was, perhaps, a lingering sense of nervousness. Despite that simper upon the King's features and too that gentle kiss upon his lips, it was still so startlingly difficult to tell that which truly pleased his companion or that which he was merely accepting out of but politeness. Still, Sebastian found himself offering that which he had so utterly resolved to follow through with. The arrangements had entirely taken hours to set up and, as much as he hated to admit it, he was rather on a timeline if he so wished to allow his companion the time required to see the amazement he had to offer.

His crystalline gaze slowly shifted towards the mayhem of papers and pencils that took up the majority of their dining table, his inquisitiveness entirely peaked by the notion that they were Dorian's work alone. His head bobbed ever so slightly at Dorian's agreement to venture into the darkness with him, the vampire easily giving into the man's needs to prepare himself for their evening adventure. Instead, Sebastian slowly approached that table, his gaze drifting appreciatively over the sketch which Dorian had so diligently been working on. In this, he was assured that the man's roommate was hardly lying to him. The King did possess a level of talent that Sebastian himself entirely lacked. Gingerly, his fingers reached out to touch the paper, that soft caress almost loving in a fashion before his eyes shifted to the next work and the next, entirely occupying himself whilst Dorian dressed himself in something far more kept. His gaze glanced up on at the sound of the man's voice, his own senses entirely...distracted if only by the sheer length of time Sebastian had been awake.

Still, the vampire's head bobbed, stepping away from the art with naught a comment upon his lips as he made his way towards the door, pausing upon the other side as Dorian busied himself with whatever locks were necessary before leading the way downstairs and towards the vehicle he knew would be awaiting them. His attention fluttered towards his companion at the gentle probing of the fae King and yet, the line of questioning was a rather sensitive one for the vampire. It was one he hadn't really spoken to of anyone beyond Ceara and she had found the whole situation entirely laughable, divulging any further of his thoughts to the woman had been entirely out of the question for the Englishman. Dorian was, perhaps, the only individual whom could so coax the truth of this matter from him and yet, he was also entirely certain the fae had no true interest in that which so plagued him. Still, he hardly intended to simply ignore the inquiry, instead offering softly, "I was in Austria...it is just north of your Italy." He offered what little geographical knowledge he could of the country, hoping that alone might help the fae king place the country. After all, it had existed for the entirety of his own life though he had little notion of it within Dorian's time.

Still, the memories that tugged at him as a result of the recent trip was enough for the vampire to fall silent, instead continuing to lead the way out of the apartment building and onto the sidewalk and too the ebony vehicle. He was entirely aware of this deviation from their norm and yet, tonight, he hardly had the luxury to stroll so leisurely to their destinations. Sebastian opened the door without hesitation, holding it open for his companion before gesturing within, "After you."
