The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
Alexander was hardly oblivious to that raised brow he was presented with, the glimpse alone so caused that small simper upon his features to waver. A soft sigh left the Macedonian's King's lips before they parted to answer that unspoken question. "In my time, couples started having children when they were about your age, if not younger." The Hunter offered as a way of an explanation before his shoulders lifted in a small shrug. "I don't think having a family is such a bad thing - but it seems you are not very fond of this idea...?" The world, after all, had changed drastically over the last couple of centuries. Where the life had once been so focused upon the familial unit as a whole, now the feminist movement had all but obliterated those one stringent patriarchal ideals. Perhaps, Alexis was a woman of her own era, not only not desiring a family of her own but too clearly finding some sort of disdain in the idea altogether. Even he could not deny, at that moment, the drastic differences between the pair - the mere difference with age near a ravine between them and yet, Alexander was hardly dissuaded in the slightest. After all, the conqueror was well known for taking what he desired, when he desired, regardless of the improbable odds or impossibility of it.
He was wholly attentive as Alexis so purposefully turned the conversation elsewhere, instead inquiring after his first experience with horses. It was, admittedly, not difficult to recall that memory with nearly perfected ease, the man allowing her the true extent of that story, for once. How eager she seemed for that very tale! That simper seemingly returned effortlessly to her lips as she listened in such acute silence - that is, until Alexander inquired after a tale from her own past. How quickly things shifted, the young woman withdrawing almost instantly as she glanced up at him in an almost timid manner. It was hardly difficult for him to glean that any inquiries of her past would be met with just as much tentativeness, and though Alexander hardly faulted her for such, it certainly made his efforts to connect with his girlfriend all the more...difficult. A small simper crossed his features as she insisted that the best stories of her life were those that he had given her. It was a sweet sentiment, truly. "Hopefully tonight will be another one of those stories." He offered her a small smile before leaning back within his chair. "Do you want dessert?" Alexander inquired before another thought crossed his mind, this one too falling from his lips soon after in a glimpse of inquisitiveness. "Do you still draw?"
