Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

he was both everything you could ever want
and nothing you could ever have

The Italian Prince was, admittedly, altogether hesitant to accept that invitation to dinner. The last one, after all, had hardly gone well, at least, as far as the Englishman was concerned. Still, if Dorian could so graciously accept hosting his own companions, then he too should make an effort for his husband's own friends. The vampire's gaze danced briefly over his figure within the mirror as his fingers deftly moved up the buttons of his oxford shirt. He could hardly deny that he was worried about tonight's festivities, after all, Amelia and Troy had, against all odds, managed to produce a child - a vampire one at that. His own experience with such youthful undead was...sketchy at best. His maker, after all, had never aged into adolescence before she had been turned and made into one of them. The last thing that Sebastian desired was to but Dorian in any situation that might result in the fae either harmed or, even worse bitten. His lips pressed together ever so slightly as Sebastian reached for his bottle of cologne, applying that scent he knew well his lover adored to the inside of both of his wrists. A final glance of approval crossed his features as he reached for his dinner jacket, pulling it over his shoulders before he stepped from their walk-in closet.

His nose twitched as he stepped from the closet, a near unmistakable scent drew his attention, causing his eyebrows to furrow. It was hardly poignant, not enough to prompt immediate concern from the vampire and yet...the smell of blood was a curiosity. His gaze near immediately darted towards his lover as Dorian stepped out of the bathroom, his fingers plucking at the tie around his neck. "I suppose so." The vampire responded as his hands fit within the pockets of his dress pants. The Prince's gaze lingered upon his King, simply watching as Dorian moved closer to press his lips against the side of his cheek. A warm simper crossed his features at that simple glimpse of affection he was awarded with, and yet, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as he reached up, his thumb brushing across his husband's smooth jawline. Dorian's admittance that he had cut himself caused his furrowed brow to raise ever so slightly. "Ah...that explains the smell." He muttered softly, leaning forward to press his lips gingerly against his lover's jawline. "Though you smell utterly delicious." His breath was surely warm against his lover's skin and muttered in an almost husky tone, the very sorts of which he knew well caused his lover's thoughts to turn...elsewhere.

It was unfortunate, perhaps, that they had already made dinner plans. He hardly protested as Dorian reached for his hands, his own fingers intertwining with his lover's own as Dorian led him downstairs and away from the comfort of their home. Although the pair were hardly allowed to leave their home alone, there was something nice about the crisp cold air that so surrounded them. Taking a break from the often busy life that came with being royalty was, distinctly, nice. He followed his lover up the walkway towards the familiar sight of Troy and Amelia's front door, his own gaze shifted briefly towards the fae Monarch at his side, dancing over the man's jaw, his gaze lingering upon the small indication of that cut Dorian had spoken of. It was the suggestion of attending to that wound that prompted a small grin upon his features. "I'd be delighted to." He commented, quite clearly tempted with this very idea, his gaze shifted only as the door opened - that dinner party was already going to be far too long for his preferences.
