Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Edie had certainly thought that she was alone in the graveyard. After all - besides her - what kind of idiot would be in a graveyard like this one at this time of night? It wasn't as though this was one of the modern ones with the new, shiny tombstones and the flowers on graves. No, this was an old, forgotten one. The names on the graves had since faded to age. Their final resting places having been entirely forgotten. Edie was here because she was too tired to walk the rest of the way home. This vampire? Well, that she wasn't sure of. Normally the Were girl would have been suspicious of the vampire. She knew better than to simply be trusting of a vampire.

And yet.

And yet she was drunk and the laughing that came from her lips was entirely a happy noise. The alcohol that coursed through her system took away any bit of that nervousness she might have felt. For now she was entirely a giggling, happy mess. She was happy to counter his claim that she was walking through the cemetery. No, she wasn't walking. She was dancing. Dancing in this happy, carefree way that was so very Edie. A grin appeared on her features as she watched him bow. Oh, he was charming just as he was handsome. The woman giggled once more as she twirled again and again until she lost her balance and collapsed to the ground in an laughing heap.

She was hardly aware of what was going on when he stood in front of her. She'd just barely pulled herself to her feet, inquiring after the dance when he did another one of those graceful bows. The girl giggled, attempting to do a curtsy in front of him. She wobbled on her feet, glad that his hand was offered to her. She grabbed ahold of it as though it was a lifeline - and perhaps it was to keep him from falling on her ass once more. She couldn't help the girlish giggle that escaped her lips as she was pulled against his chest before they moved utterly gracefully around the graveyard.

The girl was remarkably pleased by the ease at which he was able to pull her around the dance floor. It was so few people that knew the lost art of dancing. Edie could do the grinding bit of dancing that was popular in modern clubs - and god did she enjoy it. But there was something much more intimate about the form they were practicing now. It was all so delicate, so graceful. There was less touching, but certainly more intimacy.

The girl was grinning as she looked up at him. "Edie," She said happily. She twirled herself around and around with him. There was something so nice about the way they spun amongst the fog. "Edie Graham. And may I know the dashing gentleman's name, or am I left to mystery, my dear?"
