He seemed amused by her reaction but how would he expect someone to react to that kind of news? She always knew he had an air of authority and power to him but royalty? It just reminded her how much out of her league he was. He admitted he didn't have an active kingdom anymore and she swore he almost looked sad about it. Her brows furrowed for a minute, studying his face before he turned to the subject of consorts. She had no idea what those were but he said it was just a title like Queen or Princess. She laughed, the sound almost manical, before shaking her head. "No, no, those are ROYAL titles, to which, I am neither." She snorted at the very idea, rolling her eyes. He seemed almost upset that she never got to travel but I guess you could say she never knew what she was missing. She was able to shrug it off, but she knew she would love going anywhere with Alexander. She wondered just how much the world changed in his lifetime. Was he sad to see some things go or was he in awe of technology?
He seemed happy that she was okay to go to Croatia, saying that the weather would be best in a few months. She would be okay with going anytime but she trusted his judgement. When he asked if she had a passport, she smirked and shook her head. "Nope, can't say that I do." Her eyes lit up at the thought of travelling. It was going to be so much fun! She was sure of it. And even better, she'd be getting away with Alexander. What could be better? Before long, they were seated at the table by the lake. She couldn't stop looking around. It was just so magical. She asked how he knew the chef and he said the chef was a warlock. Her eyes went wide as she glanced over toward where she assumed the kitchens were. But then her lips tugged into a smirk as she leaned back and raised a brow. "So that's why this all seems so surreal." She waved her hand around them. Surely magic had something to do with this. She smiled tenderly though, reaching out for his hand across the table.
"That's so sweet of you to check up on people you save. So they're not just numbers to you. I bet not all Hunters think like you." Her eyes twinkled adoringly at him. He never failed to surprise her with his big heart. He looked down at his menu, offering some options then he chuckled at her comment, asking if she drank. She lifted a brow in thought before nodding. "Of course." She watched, mesmerized, as he gestured for the waitress. She smiled, looking forward to anything. Nothing could wrong as long as she was with him.
