East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

Alexander plucked a button down ebony shirt from his closet, pulling it over his broad shoulders. His fingers deftly worked at those buttons, leaving all but the top two done. He unfolded a pair of grey slacks, pulling them on his figure to complete that outfit. A dab of cologne was applied to his wrists before the Dark Hunter settled on finding those socks and dressier shoes. All-in-all, it took the man little more than ten minutes to dress after he'd managed to pull himself from the shower. His gaze fluttered towards the watch on his side table. He fastened it about his wrist, eyeing those hands on the face of that watch. She should be here soon. He had already seen to making reservations for the restaurant tonight, and the barn Alexander often frequented with training Frost was well aware of his impending visit tonight. He had considered, briefly, taking her to the barn of the Cavalry Unit he had recently become the High Commander of. At the very least, the were-horses there would not easily toss the woman and yet, Alexander suspected that she would easily detect exactly what they were and, in turn, perhaps not take so kindly to the idea.

The Dark Hunter paused in front of the mirrored closet, his fingers fiddled with that collar before the Macedonian King nodded to himself in a small glimpse of satisfaction. He made is way down the stairs, his gaze briefly fluttered over the patrons in the inside of that small cafe, at least until those blue-green eyes traced the exterior of his little business. Alexander spotted the young woman easily enough, settled near the front of the building settled at one of those glass outdoor tables. He paused to check with Calliel and Beylani to ensure the pair of women had what they needed for the rest of their shift before Alexander left. He entrusted Calliel to lock up once she was done for the night, the man entirely certain he would not be back before the cafe closed. Alexander made his way around the counter and towards the front door, a soft simper settled upon his features all the while. He paused before the young woman and her table, the drumming of her fingers caused his eyebrow to twitch upwards ever so slightly and yet, the King retained that good nature all the same.

"Alexis." He uttered softly, a hand held out to his girlfriend. "I hope I didn't leave you waiting long - you look lovely, darling." His blue-green eyes already glanced down her feminine figure, those dark washed jeans certainly clung to her hips in a way that was alluring, that v-neck shirt had a way of showing off those more womanly assets, if he was positioned ever just so. "Are you excited?" Alexander inquired with a hint of rare joyousness. Without the council hovering over him, without the task of someone to hunt, he found himself entirely at ease in the woman's presence. After all, he looked forward to tonight as much as she surely did, this date was entirely Alexander's style.
